Is it possible they're filming the Strawberry Swing video or has that already been completed? (Sorry--I haven't been following either thread very closely ;))

Very good point :)

hmm so im confused...were they just filming in vancouver?

is there going to be a diary?

because i honestly would rather have a diary than the live performance. :uhoh:

me too :uhoh: tour diary is love

Hold your horses guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/color][/b]

malcolm42 Filming for archives not a dvd or video. Informed by video manager. Got a viva pick too!

WHAT?!?!?! :bigcry: why is Chris messing with us?!?!? :whip:

Chris did say in the interview on coldplay.com that they have finished filming the SS vid though.

And I don't think they'd both filming the whole concert then, right?

WTH are they gonna do with a concert in the archives? Come on, that's ridiculous.

This better see at least some TV time.

It actually kind of blows. With X&Y, you can find so many full length or nearly full length properly taped concerts in different cities etc. But vitutally nothing with Viva, closest thing is like the MTV World Stage thing.

They better come out with a DVD or I am going to fight someone!:veryangry2:

I just saw this! :cheesy:

I really really hope they actually release this one, though. Chris shouldn't announce it and get our hopes up if it's purely for posterity. :uhoh:

I almost kind of think Wembley will be too... large for a concert DVD.

But then what do I know. I don't even know how many people fit into Wembley. But I think Vancouver would be more... intimate.

Then again, I love to watch Glastonbury 05... so what do I know. Then again, X&Y was better suited for bigger audiences than Viva.

I'm very indecisive.

I guess I can see what you mean, but I still think Wembley would be perfect- just like Glastonbury, like you said. It would be amazing to see something like that, especially with all the Coldplayers that will be there

i dont care about the live performance! (not to sound rude, but i just dont do watching live performances unless im actually there.)

i want a tour diary!:whip:

I think it's more likely that Wembley is gonna be filmed because it's such an iconic venue and it's almost like their homecoming shows.

i agree i already have live versions of viva tour on my ipod so im most exited about a tour diary and all the behind the scenes and everything and them talking.....i too could care less where they film the DVD concert show at.....:embarassed: sorry yeah not to be rude

exactly! it's not that i dont love their live performances...it's just that we have examples of them everywhere. they are many and plenty.

but what we DONT have is some nice behind the scenes footage. that's always my favorite thing, because it's stuff we usually wouldnt get to see and stuff we havent seen.

We already know they are building a different stage, etc for Wembley, plus its kinda like a "hometown" gig, and it'll have the most fans and atmosphere. Lot of bands are recording concerts at the new stadium. Its technologically better as well. It is an iconic venue.

I'd hazard a guess that the Vancouver shooting is for a tour diary :D!!

it better be! :whip:

but then why would chris need to warn the crowd there about the cameras?

'Cos he is crazy sometimes? :laugh4:. And the footage is probably for the dvd in some form!! :D

Chris is the kinda guy that'd be like "the music might be loud tonight, just to pre-warn you" :P.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned how they did the same exact thing in Chicago this tour? Chris said they would be filming etc. for some kind of "concert film". I do remember last year how U2 had the 3D film that was shown at Imax and some sources said Coldplay was doing the same thing. Maybe this could be bits and pieces that will be added into a Coldplay "3D show". Just a thought

people have mentioned it in the live thread where it was first brought up.

Chicago was used for the Lost! video as well, they may have be using some extra footage for another project .

Yes I Should have said "this thread"

As I said

Apparently the planetarium here has a Coldplay laser lights show.

I don't think anyone I know is gonna wanna take me to Vancouver to see a Coldplay laser light show at the space center though, lol.

Ooooh. Apparently they have Laser Radiohead coming soon. Lol, pretty cool actually. I'd so go if they still have it in September when I'm living out there.

Wow, Mr Martin is confusing everyone!!

These little bits of info (now I remember the ITV where he talked about Vancouver....) give me hope again for a Wembley DVD....*send subliminal message to boys*

I'll join you.

*sends subliminal message for a Wembley DVD*

I don't think Chris realizes people pay attention to what he says, lol.
