That's exactly the thing. They do really need to release this DVD! Hell, we deserve a new DVD i think, because much as i love the 2003 DVD, it was released 6 years ago. And that's exactly why i don't want to get too excited about this before we can be absolutely certain it's being released.

But I'm not going to think about that possibility... The Viva la Vida tour has been a HUGE career boost for them and caused a lot of attention, I think they know that a DVD could only be a good thing career-wise (and otherwise) :thinking:

We don't know the details frankly.

 

We can't even be sure if they WILL end up releasing the DVD. It's not officially announced on the site yet, but Chris DID mention that they are filming the shows.

 

Hopefully with Mat Whitecross following them for a documentary, there will be a tour diary! But it's still all speculation.

According to an interview that Chris gave last week with the Winnipeg Sun it appears that they are taping the concert for posterity.
