Billy Mays Dies at 50

Featured Replies

TAMPA - Tampa police say Billy Mays, the television pitchman known for his boisterous hawking of products such as Orange Glo and OxiClean, has died. He was 50.

Authorities say Mays was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m. Sunday after being found by his wife at home, located at 2853 Bowen Daniel Dr., #1201. There were no signs of a break-in, and investigators do not suspect foul play. The coroner's office expects to have an autopsy done by Monday afternoon.

Mays' wife, Deborah Mays, says the family doesn't expect to make any public statements and asked for privacy.

Mays was also featured on the reality TV show "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel, which followed Mays and Anthony Sullivan in their marketing jobs.

Tv Advertisements will never be the same. :(

I'm actually the guy in the commercials. The beer isn't real, it's just applejuice. But everything else was real including the samurais, the bear, benchpressing the women on the chairs, etc.

holy shit?!!?!? what the hell is happening? its like 'the happening'!

I actually saw part of show he has on discovery channel last week. One of the those rags to riches deals where he pitches new products. As lame as it sounds I'm truly saddened by this.

Now that's 4 celebrities in a matter of 2 weeks, and two of them were 50 years old. Weird...

I hope God isn't mad at me for what I did last week, and is consequentially killing somebody I love everyday until I repent...I mean, it was only an urn...

Chuck Norris? :uhoh:

i know, right?

what I was thinking

Silly boy Chuck Norris can't die.

He's too awesome for that. :P
