i waited 4yrs for this album. out of the 200-odd albums i have listened to over the last few years it is by far the worst. the band was my favourite band in the world by a long way before this release. now i can hardly remember the last time i put in one of their cd's.

maybe we realised it was going to be shit from the first single Human so no one got it. but i guess i could put a vote down for my mate who was a massive fan until DAY&AGE came out. hardly a day goes by without him complaining about wasting his money on that record.

I have the other three Killers albums, but Day & Age just sucks.

 

But granted, they tend to get worse by the album.

Even Hot Fuss wasn't that good. Some tunes are wicked though, but they have yet to make a great album.

My friend made me download DAY&AGE. I had listened to some songs from their other albums. I bought Hot Fuss and thought it was 'OKAY'. And after downloading D&A (my friend raved about some song on their about losing touch) I hated all of them. My God... It was just awful. I regret being talked into downloading it when I never really liked them to begin with and started caring less and less over the years for their singles. :angry:

Awwwww, what's with all the D&A hatred...? I really like that album...plus one of my fave Killers tracks has to be Losing Touch......:uhoh:
