Why is it that this gorgeous song is so under appreciated?!

 

Rainy Day is one of my absolute favourite Coldplay tunes, simply because of how happy it makes me whenever I decide to take my dog for a stroll down the street. Having this musical delight blaring in my ear makes the day so much brighter.

 

So tell me: do you think Rainy Day is absolute trash, or is truly a gem that is underrated? :D

very underrated for sure. it is probably the best song off of prospekt's march

its okay, lyrics are impossible to comprehend, verse is catchy but its a messy transition to the chorus. I usually skip it.

Definitely underrated

Not highly underrated, but underrated all the same. Definitely a great song. The music honestly does make me think of raindrops falling on the ground.

It's ok but most of the time I don't listen to it, it's not really a special song or something

I like parts of it, but I find the poppy tinging in the verse to be downright irritating.

Great song, but I do agree that the vocals could have been mixed a bit better. Rightfully left off the album, but still a fun song.

 

(My drug addict friend said this song makes him trip. :lol:)

Definently best song on PM, waaaay to highly underrated, amazing lyrics.

I really don't like it too much. It's too poppy and all over the place with the strings.

 

The best song on PM is Prospekt's March, Rainy Day is better only than Lost+.

rainy day is my least favorite new song on that E.P., the others are really solid though.

They should have played it live at least once.

I dig this, it is most definately a gem. Truly masterful songwriting. It is just unorthadox, people dislike it because of that.
