July 26, 200916 yr I found this version of Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends at Sam's Warehouse which is like a massive bargain shop. I bought it because the packaging was very interesting and it was only $10! The album usually costs anything from $18 to $25. The album was in a DVD case and there were lyrics, postcards, a poster and the normal booklet that comes with the album. So I'm wondering if this a Chinese import or a bootleg. Oh and sorry if this is in the wrong section. I've never posted a thread before. Here's some scans:
July 26, 200916 yr Yeah, looks really dodgy; especially because of the lyrics. The band have never published their lyrics with an album as far as I know, so that's a tell-tale sign it could be a bootleg. However, I don't know anything about anything, so don't trust me! ^^

July 26, 200916 yr Author I just found it strange that if it was an import and it was cheaper than the normal edition.
July 26, 200916 yr At the right bottom of the cover, it said "attached a two-sided poster (53cmx37cm), chinese and english lyrics, and postcards. An exclusive publishing in Chine (except Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan)." On the cover of the CD, it also said it's published by EMI Shanghai. Hope this helps.

July 26, 200916 yr The actual CD looks a bit dodgy to me, they might have used the official barcode number to fool people
July 26, 200916 yr MusicHalo.com also has Prospekt's March with a poster! http://www.musichalo.com/product.php?pid=1757
July 26, 200916 yr Definitely legit. I own a copy myself, it's the Chinese version. Not very rare, can be easily found on eBay.
July 27, 200916 yr Author Okay thanks! Well my mum's Chinese so I thought I might as well buy it for her but she hasn't been home so I couldn't get her to translate it for me.
