^...Me too, for some stories. I'm not naming names, I know it's not most of you guys, but I've noticed it in some of the stories.

do you know what the problem is?

the people on these boards use satire way too much.

actually, they kinda overuse it.

for example: The Lounge. :dozey:

@Brooke Yes exactly!

I know. Satire often goes a little too far, and also gets to be a little too insulting.

Edit: Maybe the cuteness of Mr. Colin Morgan (in my siggy) will scare them all away! :surprised:

Goodnight, girls, I gotta go to bed.

I think some people just take the internet way too seriously. Or maybe not seriosuly enough. They forget their manners:P

I know.

Like has anyone ever noticed how mean people on youtube are?

Not to mention uneducated.

"this uxs lolllllll"

"ha"

"i no tihnk i liek dis"

"akjfaehkele;saf"

Some studies say the internet makes you smarter, but it in fact can make you dumber.

So true.

But I feel guilty for spamming now. So back to fanfiction. Are you any closer to writing the next part of Druids?

my favorite is when people imitate the people who use text speak, but it actually ends up becoming part of their vocabulary. :P

*back to fanfiction*

yeah, lhuna, did you write more?

You mean like yesterday's JoBros fan?

Keddie--Druids. Um. Plotline's outlined but I don't know how to express it. I'm going to try writing it in physics tomorrow. We don't do anything in that class anyway.

OK:)

If you ever feel stuck, listen to music. I don't know if that's what you usually do, but that always seems to work for me.:)

thank you, emma.

do you actually read our stories?

not meant to sound bitter or anything, i was just thinking that you could make some critical comments on specific ones to help us out. if you want. :P

Yeah actually I'd love some constructive criticism about my writing. Everyone that reads these stories are so nice, which is awesome, but there's no way anyone would tell me when something isn't that good.

Also, I love waking up and having new fanfiction to read. DAAHF was great Brooke, it had such a great ending:heart:.

And You Carry The One:Also had a great ending. I'm sad to see it go, you're a great writer. I also loved the little bit about MJ. That was hilarious:laugh3:

Um....it was too short.

I really can't do this either:P

Anna, I love your story, as usual. The whole thing with Will made me laugh.

Two funny Will moments in two different stories, this is going to help me through the day for sure:laugh3:

A Rush Of Blood: Sooo good:nice: I'm glad it's not the end yet!!:P

Anytime:nice: I know my words are harsh, but don't take it too seriously:P

I expect you to critique me next time now:whip:

A reply to Emma:

We're just afraid of offending each other, I think.

It's not like we really believe all of our stories are perfect! (Sorry if anyone really does think that...)

But if Sara does have a problem with the way we act/write, I would appreciate it if she would tell us outright instead of being "satirical" and putting her "amusing satire" into our thread. We don't bother anyone outside the thread, so I don't see why anyone feels the need to bother us.

Like the sites you gave us, Emma (I actually have seen those before, they're great)...those are helpful. Sara's story? Not so much. And it is disrespectful, actually. To everyone here. Not just the band.

Edit: I apologize for being argumentative, but I'm stuck in school, so forgive me.

I know we're trying this new constructive critisism thing, but I was going back through the thread and realized I had forgotten to read 'Pet Shop Boys' and I have nothing but praise for it. OMG. I died :dead: of laughter. It was too funny for words. I love Chris acting like a big child anyday. Loved it, loved it, loved it. :D

I have a few things to say regarding this fanfiction thing.

I don't know about the rest of you but I do it as a fun way to pass the time.

If someone doesn't like what I write, I expect them to say so.

When I like a story that someone writes, I say so.

And I don't say so unless I mean it.

I don't expect to get famous writing fan fiction.

And anything that required research, I have always done it. There are some very intelligent people on this thread and some of them would not put up with unresearched material. (Most especially, Kyra). And that is a good thing.

And this is specifically to Cobalt---I don't know you or anything about you. I am sure you are an intelligent and well-meaning person. But I do not appreciate the fact that you come to this thread and proceed to lecture us on what is wrong with our writing.

I can't speak for the rest of the writers but there is a huge difference between slash (which I happen to write alot) and trash. It is a rare occasion when one of us writes a story that concerns "cheating." We rarely ever use any real family members (except for Simon) in stories. You must have us mixed up with that "other" thread.
