YAYYYYYY

Jonny sat on the edge of his bed in his room situated in the penthouse suite the band were sharing that week. He sat, lost in thought; chris was on his mind, again. He looked at his hands and clenched them tighter trying helplessly to not cry. Chris had a wife, how could he possibly tear their marriage apart? And possibly their precious friendship?! The mixed signals chris were sending to poor Jonny were to overpowering for him not to think about it.

 

"Jonny, how come your here all alone?" a familiar voice said from the bedroom door.

Jonnys green eyes flickered up and saw just the person he'd hoped not to see at this time of weakness.

"chris, um, I was just..taking five I guess." he blinked.

"oh right, just popping in to check if you wanted anything for lunch, me and guy are going out to get a few things." chris chimed.

Jonny shook his hat covered head. "no thanks, I had a big breakfast.." he smiled.

"okay we'll, see ya later!" chris beamed, jonnys heart raced when he saw his fixating smile. The door closed gently and Jonny was back to where he was before, thinking.

When was the right time to tell chris?

He ran his hands over his face, stood up and walked out of his bedroom door and into a large lounge area where all of the bands instruments were. He was stood, examining each one when another familiar voice sounded from the other side of the room. Will.

"Jonny! Can I, uh, talk to you a second?"

"yeah, what's up?"

"come sit down.."

Jonny followed wills instruction and joined him on a large fabric sofa in the centre of the room.

"uh, j, I don't really know how to tell you this but.."

Jonny was perplexed. What would will be so concerned about?

"I'm just going to say it, JONNY, MY FEELINGS FOR YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT BUILD OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, IM IN LOVE WITH YOU!!"

 

Jonny blinked.

 

"will I-"

But before he had time to finish, will was already centimetres away from his anxious face.

Jonny loved chris. He put his hands on wills chest and pushed him away, shaking his head. He looked down at his hands again, his green eyes filled with heartache.

"..Jonny?" will squeaked.

"I'm sorry will. I just don't have feelings for you in that way."

"THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE ISN'T THERE!" will furrowed his eyebrows.

"well actually, yes. There is." Jonny couldn't believe how in just a couple of seconds, he had managed to build up the courage to tell someone about his feelings for chris.

 

"JONNY, JUST TELL ME ALLREADY, YOUVE ALLREADY BROKEN MY HEART ENOU-"

"IT'S CHRIS!!!"

 

The sound drained from the room. Jonny sighed, looking away from will.

Wills eyes drifted to the floor, away from Jonny.

 

"oh." he said. "why don't you just tell him how you feel then." with a slightly bitter tone in his voice.

"will, he has a wife, it's not that easy."

Will sighed and placed a hand on jonnys shoulder.

"just tell him Jon. You can't keep it bottled up forever." with that, will left the room with a final pat on jonnys shoulder and went into his own bedroom.

 

Jonny bit his lip.

 

"WE'RE HOOMEE!!" chris sang from the bottom of the stairs.

 

Jonny couldn't help but giggle at chris' qwerkiness.

 

"looks like its just you and me tonight Jonny boy, these two are off out!!" chris said.

Jonny looked up at him and couldn't help but smile, he quickly became lost in these azure blue eyes looking down at him and was caught in a complete moment.

"uh, Jon?"

"oh, uh, sorry, sounds good anyway!!" Jonny beamed.

Guy announced he was going to get ready And entered his room. Chris joined Jonny on the fabric sofa and the sudden kick of courage Jonny had experienced earlier soon kicked in again.

'great timing' he thought.

 

Jonny twisted to face chris who was off in his own world on the opposite side of the sofa.

"chris?"

"uh yeah?" he smiled.

"we um, we need to talk."

 

END OF PART ONE..

PART 2:

 

"um sure..what's up?"

Jonny looked deep into chris' eyes again and swallowed.

"look, chris, I don't know how to explain this but..I want to be more than friends."

He bit his lip waiting for chris to process what he just said.

"..what, best friends? We ALLREADY are jonnyboy!!!" he beamed.

Jonny deflated. Not the right answer mr.martin.

"no, I mean, Urgh. I love you." Jonny hid his face in his hands and was scared to take them away.

 

He sensed chris standing up and sitting on the floor infant of the sofa instead.

"chris, please don't be mad at me." Jonny sighed, looking at him.

 

Chris took jonnys hands in his and looked right back. "j, of course I'm not mad at you....I love you too."

Jonnys heart was pounding against his rib cage and he couldn't help but smile broadly.

Next minute, Jonny was scooped into a warm, wonderful embrace and savoured each moment of it.

 

The pair soon separated though when the doors to guy and wills rooms opened and they walked out, ready for their night out. Will looked at Jonny, pursed his lips together and slipped his hands into his pockets.

"ready will?" guy asked casually.

"uh yeah, yeah let's go." he breathed and they said their goodbyes and walked out of the suite.

PART 3:

 

We both heard the door close and chris stood there opposite me.

Jonny, do it, he's ALLREADY told you he loves you, just kiss him!!! Quick!!!

He edged in, staring at chris, quickly shut his eyes and moved in even closer, they were so close...

"Jonny you know what!!" chris gasped, making Jonny jump. He blushed at the thought of him looking so stupid when chris wasn't even paying attention. Chris was at the piano pressing a number of keys, writing things down..on the piano. Doing all sorts. Jonny sighed, chris' attention was now elsewhere..
