You know I can't vote (as in the event of a draw I hold the casting vote blah blah blah).

Make me one :P

1: This song is great  The voice sounds familiar, Death cab for a cuttie maybe? I'm not sure, though, it could be Band of Horses

2: Based on piano and guitar 2 or 3 chords sequence, but I just don't like his voice at times, it makes the song kind of pop.

3: Acoustic guitar, some cool arrangements on electric clean but with reverb guitar, Nice song, nonetheless, his voice lacks power.

4: I know this one, or at least have heard it before somewhere, his low tone voice may be annyoing and repetitive at times, but music is kind of dreamy, I'm eager to know who's this.

5: Excellent! The intro reminds me a bit of the beggining of coldplay's poppy fields, strings arrangements during chorus the dude has a low agreable voice. Let me know who's this as soon as possible

6: Good song, love the guitar tone and durmming

7: Holy shit, this is amazing, His voice reminds me a little of red hot chilli pepers, which is kind of disappointing because it's such a good song, his voice doesn't fit with this excellent music unfortunately, but still I like the song.

8: Sky is falling out and there's an angel on the groud it's getting cold(er?) Catchy chorus, very nice song. I like it.

9: Acoustic guitar and an electric one like reggae. Sounds familiar. Despite not liking much the style of the electric guitar that makes the rythm I like the song.

10: Simple but great

11: Two weeks by Grizzly Bear. What else can I say?

12: Some electric guitar arpeggios, and a voice that reminds me just a little of the smiths, but with somethng different. It's cool I like it

13: Sorry but I don't like this one

14: Smashing Pumpkins

15: What a perfect way to end! I can't get it out of my head now, and it's not a shitty catchy mainstream song, it's a cool indie one.

As a conclusion I enojyed a lot my mixtape, being a nice bunch of indie/altenative songs.

who's mixtape is this? i want to listen!!

and well, now that it's all over :(

December/January time

I'm looking forward to it

Dave, I think it's time for you to review the unreviewed. Or are we gonna wait?

Grrr... i wanna know if the person liked mine

I will review mine as soon as possible. Sorry for taking this so long but after a 12-hour train journey I don't think my first thing on to-do list is posting the review...

Meanwhile, here's the tracklist for my mixtape.

1. Its got a cool bass line. A nice head bobbing song. Very Brit Rock. "If only I knew your name, Id go from door to door" Nice duet.

2. Female vocalist, steady bass drum beat, appreciated guitar. Melody is ok, the echo harmony aint doing it for me. Guitar is again very treble based and Brit Rock.

3. Crash and snare. Piano repeating two chords.

4. Spooky female a capella. Instruments slowly building. good track.

5. I recognize this. Very similar to the others. More jazzy beat.

6. Almost a ska beat, without the horns though. Emphasis on the third. good guitar and vocals in the chorus.

7. Synthy acoustic opening. Nice male vocals, barely distinguishable but good melody. My favourite so far. Its actually really awesome.

8. Very folky song. "Just leave my soul, anywhere till i find peace in this world". Great song. I feel this song.

9. I recognize this! Sweet arpeggiated acoustic guitar in a familiar melody! Love love love it! Was this in The O.C. ?

10. Mood changer. Weird piano distortion, I do like it. A lot actually. Good beat, getting a bit crowded. Its defiantly an instrumental. I recognize this too!

11. Weird piano, a foreign language perhaps? Female, not my cup of tea.

12. strong bass, weird synth. Dont like the echoed voices again, cheap trick to make the vocalist sound better. Im taking a wild guess its called Dance With The Money? Won me over at the end, decent track.

13. Don't know about this one. little too odd and foreign. Once again won me over in the end.

14. Piano ballad? I hope so! Starting off that way! Great song, this guy has good power in his voice. Nice sounding song, perfect way to end it off!

Thanks to who made this, I loved it, good to hear music that I dont normally listen to. Very European though! Not a bad thing.

1. Mystery Jets - Young Love I fell in love with it at first listen, it's a fun song. :)

2. Asobi Seksu - Thursday

3. French Kicks - Sex Tourists

4. Bat For Lashes - Glass She's a good singer. Not the best one, far from that, but I find her songs a bit different than others'.

5. Patrick Watson - The Storm

6. Kent - Pärlor It's a recent discovery, this Swedish band is very good and putting the song in the mixtape makes me want to listen to more of their songs.

7. Ray LaMontagne - Be Here Now I love this song so much. It reminds me of a friend of mine and it always will.

8. Tim Buckley - Sing A Song For You My favourite song this month. Very romantic, sung by a great singer, the father of Jeff Buckley.

9. José Gonzáles - Heartbeats :)

10. Elevators - Riff Wait, you recognise this? :o This is a song from a local (ok, national) band that makes more jazzy/pop songs. One is even sung in my dialect.

11. Björk Guðmundsdóttir & Tríó Guðmundar Ingólfssonar - Bella Símamar yes, it's sung in Icelandic, a very early Björk song. :)

12. Mando Diao - Dance With Somebody it's a more popular song, I hear it on the radio; but at least it's quite decent.

13. Ramirez - Učini nešto danas it's a song by a Croatian band, I've been obsessed with it lately... The title means 'Do Something Today'

14. Pilot Speed - Into The West Canadian. That's all I'm saying.
