Complaining is pointless, I still think. Nathan was banned yes, but he was given many warnings. While the rules here may not be 'fairest' in the world, it's a forum, it doesn't have to be fair. Nathan was given warnings, and he kept up whatever behavior he was getting into trouble with. He therefore was banned.

 

If he was banned out of nowhere, that would be a different case. But he was warned that he was headed for trouble, so it was his own fault he chose to get banned.

Sorry your topic's gone, well, off-topic noony, you have a completely valid point. If not banned, other people should have been warned. It seems only anything is done if someone complains, however, which is ridiculous. Do you really think people are going to BOTHER complaining by PM when half the time nothing is actually DONE?

So do you expect everytime someone complains about someone else they should be banned? That would work out great. Nathan, Mark, Jack, Albie, and half the forum would be gone.

Spot on. There were lots of people who complained about him who didn't have an agenda (i.e. couldn't be accused of "bias"), and this probably had a lot to do with it.

I believe he also goaded Ian into banning him, which was unbelievably stupid.:dozey:

If this is true, you could definitely say he got what he deserved.

As Ian does have a lot on his plate and better things to do, if he does issue a warning you can be sure it's for good reason and should be heeded. Otherwise you should accept the consequences.

I do, because in my communications with him I've always found him to be very fair and unbiased, unlike certain others I could mention.;)

You should also ask yourself why certain people condemn "behaviour" by certain members but at the same time condone/support similar or more extreme behaviour from others (e.g. Albie).

If that isn't "double standards", I don't know what is.......................................... ;)
