I am an avowed fan of A rush of blood to the head, which has sold more than 12 million of records world wide (don't know the exact cipher). If that's not popular then I don't know what is.

In fact I wish some "little" indie bands I like were bigger because they deserve it. And I'm not saying coldplay don't.

Dude, half of your "counterarguments" are only reinforcing Dearie Prospekt's points.

 

Chris doesn't hit all the high notes. Dancing =/= sincerity. AROBTTH >>>>>>> 42 lyrically, and musically, and all-around-ly. I could go on.

 

We can all have our opinions here.

But Chris still hits all his notes and he does his dancing. He and the rest of the band all enjoy playing their music and performing it for their fans. And their clothes as pointed out earlier have nothing to do with the quality of their music, they can wear what they want.

42 is an excellent song and so is AROBTTH. And you know what some people like 42 over AROBTTH and some people agree with you. But they are excellent still and VLVODAAHF is an excellent album in my personal opinion and it's my favorite.

Well isn't that just wonderful for you. But you seem to be forgetting that you can still listen to the solo on the original version. The + version was just made to add some more amazing lyrics and for chris to do another collab. that he loves doing. It's not as if the + version is the only version there is.

 

Um who cares if he forgets his lyrics??? People do that all the time. I doubt that even Chris fully gets used to performing on stage in front of thousands of people. Nervousness and forgetfullness are in the human genes. That doesn't say anything about the quality of Coldplay's music. Also Chris has never hit every high note, give me a break. You make it sound like he used to be perfect and now all of a sudden he needs serious vocal lessons.
