I havent read through the whole topic, and it may have been said before, but my major problem with modern day Coldplay is how often they use pre-recorded music during their shows...

 

They're talanted musicians.... why cant they just play it?

 

Putting on a 'big show' has become more important than the music.. which is very sad to see.

 

Why use pre-recorded piano in Lovers in Japan while Chris Martin just runs around? Why cant he play it?

Like many others, I joined the forum after Viva was released, but I've been a fan for quite a while :thinking:

 

I can't say I'm incredibly crazy about their new album. There are some songs that I love (Strawberry Swing :D) and some that I like more or less. I guess right now I'm more into the Parachutes era :D

I joined before Viva was released, in the lead-up, and I don't think it's that great, I mean it was at first but then it wore off. There just seems to be a trend where all the ones that joined after it came out think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Yeah, it's completely irrelevent. I didn't join this forum until February this year. I've been a fan from the beginning. I browsed around this site for many years before finally deciding (and having the time) to join and post.

Also, they started using pre-recorded tracks on the AROBTTH tour so why is it a problem now? It's pretty much standard practice anyway.
