Music seems to get better whenever Coldplay comes out with a new album, or you listen to the radio, etc. a lot more when there's new Coldplay or out on tour.

For example, Coldplay came out with VLV, then Franz Ferdinand, then my second favorite band Yeah Yeahs Yeahs, now Muse has an album coming out. Music just seems better when they're around. :nice: and when Coldplay are on their little breaks or whatever I can't stand to listen to the radio. :laugh3:

YES!! actually before viva la vida i wasnt listening to the radio at all. i started to listen to music in spanish only cuz the radio was soooo boring. i was absolutely unaware of what was going on in english speaking world in regards to music. one of my cousins had to let me know coldplay was finally coming out with their new album and i started to listen to the radio again.

and i remember this happening before too

its weird how that works. i guess coldplay attracts creativity in music. anyways i thought i was the only one who noticed this trend.

It's probably not just Coldplay, I think it's just me getting excited whenever they have new stuff out and trying to catch their new singles on the radio or on tv. And while I'm waiting they just happen to play other good songs haha. :D

yup only lady gaga and katy perry is what comes up all the time on the radio, so i play leftrightleftrightleft cuz i hate it when they overplay songs. for example pokerface and love game

Idk, there's a good rock station down here. But I can never listen to the radio for a long period of time. I don't know, what I was trying to say is that Coldplay makes me more willing to listen to the radio, and when I do I SOMETIMES hear good tunes from other bands.
