The only ways I can think of meeting the band is either:

1. Win a contest

2. Find where band comes out to their tour bus(that is what I did at 2 different concerts I went to.)

England sucks.

LOL, well it is unfortunate that it is really more fun to visit than to live, which is one of the reasons I left... I miss a lot of things though. I might move back sometime when I'm rich

I disagree England does not suck actually. Im very proud to be English, only problem is we are (like all english speaking countries) very arrogant about people speaking are language, we expect them to be able too speak english in every country we go to

Older guys are awesome. I'm only 13, and I think the boys from 13/14 are like, shit :P

So, Graceberryman, I think you're name is Grace :P Whe're on the same line, and almost same age :P

Oh god...

Oh god  I couldn't go throught the whole thing, is it just me or is that girl's voice (and her entire self actually ) really annoying?

And to answer your question, these are the only ways I can think of for you to meet the band:

1. Winning a contest

2. Stalking the venue's artist entrance before the show (they've gotten out of the car to say hi to fans before!)

3. Stalking the venue's back door after the show and pray they didn't do a runner :P

4. Stalking their hotel

5. Be Angie and run into Will in the tube while going to a football match :dozey:

I won a radio contest to meet them. The band were running very late that day. It was also the day of the Stripped concert in Hollywood as R 42 blogged about in Blog 91. http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=450&page=0

It was very short, but I spoke to Will for a few seconds and Chris shook my and my husband's hands and apologized for the delay. Even though it was so short, we got a picture, and it was just amazing to see them up close and speak to them.

I'm standing right next to Will and my husband is in the blue shirt next to Chris - Chris has his arm around my husband's shoulder.

Lucky Angie!

Well, like I said, if I am smart enough to find those places, and get a chance to go to another concert I may just do that.

What's a runner?

*cluelessness*

Haha yeah boys suck at our age. Complete f***ing jerks.

At least I have my Coldplay. <3

And YAY someone my age!

Well, around my age.

when they leave right after the shows over.

Oh that's what I thought. :D

Camp out near their house, preferably behind the bushes. Worked for me. :D

J/k, I've never met them. :bigcry:

Well the back entrance is not that hard to find, plus as someone said before, the big red trucks are pretty obvious  You don't need to try to squeeze your way backstage, I think they always appretiate when fans respect boundaries :P Just show that you're there for them and hopefully the coldplay karma will be kind to you! :D

I see you're following me at Twitter now :P I follow you to :)

And I have my Coldplay too!

For sure. I dig older guys.

I am 14 and I tell allll my friends that. They're like "Ewww". What can I say? Guy's attractive. There's no avoiding it with the accent. And I wish I lived in the U.K. too. Seems better there! And the accent! *swoons*

I want to live in England as well. And I really don't get how some people think that Guy isn't hot...

no, I haven't

I'm gonna try to

I know what you do !

Start up a crazy band that makes music almost as awesome as Coldplay, get famous on Myspace and then get a record deal, and then move to England so people there can get to know you (AKA: Coldplay) and then they ask you to tour with them and there, you've met them. :)

England sucks.

I've been to London twice and I loved it.

Couldn't agree more.

You should see the boys in my class. They still run around and sing "pigs are fat".. Like the kids in kindergarden. :laugh3:

I'm in your age too :D

It's a fine line between visiting and living there. England doesn't really suck overall, its just so expensive and people get sick of the weather. Not to mention the UK being the most CCTV'd Country in the World, and the speed cameras, and the traffic, and the overcrowding due to all the asylum seekers, and the declining NHS, and the privitisation of rail that has made it almost ridiculous to travel by train most of the time... Ok, ok, there is a lot I miss, but not enough to move back just yet!

Anyway, back on topic, the best way to meet any celebrity is to usually hang out by where the buses come in either before or after the concert. If they feel like coming out they will. However, Coldplay have practically done a runner on every show this tour, so it's unlikely that would work

You could also find out what hotel they are staying in and place yourself in the lobby in a timely manner, and voila!
