This video is a snippet of a newly written Noel Gallagher song played during a soundcheck a few months ago. This song is apparently called If I Had A Gun and my brother who has in depth knowledge of the band reckons this could make it on to an almost certain Noel Gallagher solo record.

Noel's got it. Liam... doesn't.

Why must everyone criticise Liam Gallagher? Sure, he's no where near the standard of Noel Gallagher but his writing has improved. Songbird is a fantastic song as is I'm Outta Time.

I want Oasis without Liam

I have never really listened to Oasis that much but am starting to. Noel seems good right now but some people say best songwriter alive? come on even if he is its not all by himself. even John Lennon and Paul mcCartney shared songs for approval. i bet Liam had a lot to do with Noel's songs. Once again in regards to Oasis no idea, in regards to the songwriting i stand by my opinion lol. stop criticizing Liam so much

Liam is the recognizable voice of Oasis tho, but let the singing to him. if there were no hatin' between them things would have obviously gone well.

Quit this debate. Oasis no longer exists and wasn't even a band anyway, regarding the fact they break up because both leading members were overgrown spoiled rotten babies fighting all the time over spilled milk. Neither's worth anything.

Guitarist warns fans they will have to wait for new material

 

Noel Gallagher has ruled out making any new music until next year, because he will be busy changing nappies.

 

The guitarist, who is expected to embark on a solo career following Oasis' split last year, warned fans they will have to be patient over new music.

 

"I'm moving house and my missus is nine months pregnant so I'm not doing anything until well into next year," he told BBC News. "I'll be doing nappies and all that malarkey."

 

Gallagher played two solo shows earlier this year for the Teenage Cancer Trust, though he did not include any new material in his sets.

He said back in March that his appearances at the Teenage Cancer Trust would be the only appearances he'd make this year so it's no surprise. Anyway he always liked taking a break between Oasis albums something that was to the detriment of Liam who rightly in my view said that it's their job making music so they must always continue to make music! Take note Noel!
