Mom and Pop can go be Walmart greeters after their stores are overrun.

See, Walmart never stops giving.

:shocked2: Whoa. I never knew Wal-Mart was infested with weird people.

I guess my area's pretty boring--the weirdest person I've seen at Wal-Mart was a really fat guy. Or I haven't been looking enough...

Wait...come to think of it, I have this really distant memory of a tall, skinny guy with gross-looking feet (why wear sandals??) and a white t-shirt. He had 3 chins and very long straight blonde hair. It was like he used a flat iron on it.

But other than that, I can't remember if I saw more hobos/circus people/weirdos/fashion faux pas at my local Wal-Mart.

And if you think Wal-Mart is bad, check out my local Target. There are Bratz dolls in the Star Wars Aisle and Lego figures in the Barbie Aisle, and they claim to have inflatable pools and surfboards, but they don't.

When I was like 12 I thought Wal-Mart was the best thing ever, cos our supermarkets didn't sell everything (they do now) so I was absolutely fascinated that they could have everything under one roof and my parents could look for their stuff while I looked for my own interests.

It's so fucking annoying when you get to the cashier, and he or she delightfully says to you:

WOULD YOU LIKE TO APPLY FOR A WAL-MART CREDIT CARD??? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :furious2:

Thank God that Publix (Another supermarket chain) is opening more stores in the south.

^with ref to the credit cards^

in this country when you buy something from a clothes shop like BHS, they will try and sell you a store card, useful as it gives a discount but normally having high interest rates :(

You are absolutely right. Here in the US & Canada, all major retail stores offer a store/credit card. Gap, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Banana Republic, you name it! It's so fucking annoying, everything is about money, damn capitalism.

If there is say a decent discount if you sign up, than it might be worth it, as long as you pay it off in full so you don't pay interest.

I've had my credit card now for 3 years, but I have never paid a penny in interest :)

All you have to do is say "no"

Indeed! I hate it when customers get all arrogant when you ask them something. It's part of our job and we told off if we don't ask.

Good for you man, don't be part of the crowd. Be in the crowd, but be the best one in the crowd.

I go to Target.

THIS. Get an Icee and walk around a normal store with less creeps and weirdos.

I steal from small stores and give the money to Walmart cos they deserve it.

Fun stuff.

Who's in your avatar and why's he so hot?

That would be Mr Matt Hales a.k.a. Aqualung.
