and they give credit where it is truly undue. Maybe they are just TOO nice, but I question their sincerity. I just read that article where CP stated that respected Miley Cyrus. Really? The only song she probably knows is Viva a Vida and she just is a Chris fan girl. And her music has no depth whatsoever. please tell me they are JOKING.

And what is up with the Gay Z bromance? And the claim that Kanye is the best producer ever? I heard that in an interview. :dozey:

Dont take this the wrong way...I just think these guys are being too nice when they gush compliments like that.

I think they just don't want to get on anyones bad side. They are trying rlly hard to not, maybe sometimes tooooo much, but I think its okay, its not like they are putting people down or something :D

But I still see your point.

EXACTLY. but its wayyyyy tooooooo much. its almost kiss assing, no offense. C'mon Chris, we all know you don't actually watch Hannah Montana. If you do, you lose some cred in my book. The show isnt even that funny...

Until I see Chris do the "hoe down", I will believe that he actually likes Miley. LOL!

And if MC dares play with CP on their next tour, I will spend time during her performance buying hotdogs or something.

I think he said that because he found out that Miley has a crush on him and didn't want to hurt her feelings.

and there is absolutely NO WAY they would seriously have her open for them.

I wouldn't worry about that.

the bands that open for Coldplay are brilliant.

Who knows?Jay-z might actually be a really nice guy?

and as for Kanye...Well I can't really say anything there.:laugh3:I wonder if Chris's opinion has changed after the VMAs?

He is a good producer,I can't deny that,he just has some issues.:\

Kanye once said he was bigger than Coca Cola. Whatever that means.

I liked the song "Homecoming" because of a certain lovely falsetto;)

Kanye is brilliant at what he does. Same with Jay Z.

Agreed. Awe actually now Im thinking its cute (not Miley) but the fact Chris is being so nice because he knows someone has a crush on him. Makes me kind of blush,

*Fanning my self now* :laugh3:

Haha and once Chris said like "How can you not like Nickelback?" Or something along those lines.

EDIT: Or he said he respected them. I cannot remember.

He seems to respect everyone nowadays...He is too nice. I hope he is not a pushover.

And I used to like Nickelback when I was 8. :) They aren't so bad!

Nickelback :dozey: barf.

Concerning Miley Cyrus.I can't stand her music but I think it would kind of weird for a band like Coldplay to criticize her in a any public way (radio etc), especially if she admitted she had a crush on him. She's just a kid.Little kids listen to her.I don't think it would be fair.Of course it would be better not to mention her at all but okay...

Hey, I didnt say that it would be cool if they bashed a 16 year old girl...that would be eveb worse. But, like you said,he should have just said nothing at all and especially not saying it would be cool of her performing with them.

*points at your oversized sig* Case and point.

Chris loves everyone and almost everything... including hyperbole. Whatever it is, it's always the best in the universe, or the worst thing ever. Sometimes both, but no in between. And when you're in his position, anything less that perfectly positive you say in the press gets twisted into a feud.

Though he is right sometimes... he called Richard Ashcroft the best singer ever. I rolled my eyes. Four(?) years on he's now my favorite singer. *shrugs*

smiley is so sexy!!

with, unfortunately, horsey looky face :(

I agree... and also a couple people pointed out that Miley said that she had a crush on him so he might have been trying to be nice... besides in the interview he didn't sound all that serious.

Personally, I prefer the route that Radiohead took regarding Miley. :laugh3:

But I guess that's just Chris's personality. Unfortunately for him, singing everyone's praises isn't going to get people off the band's back about idiotic things. I think we all both love and hate the silly things Chris says. :D

I love Nickelback, they're so experimental.

one of the reasons, why coldplay ( i think it's chris martin who does this mostly though) are the only band of the ones i like, who really irritate me without end....

I think they're(Chris is particular) are just trying to keep peace between them and other people.
