The Post-Viva Wilderness Thread (2010 - ?)

Featured Replies

Someone described it as that, thus.

Discuss your thoughts about the upcoming wilderness, what you will do, and who do you expect to be the first few people to become Missing In Action in this forestry time? SHOCK HORROR!

I don't even want to think about that.

I, personally, much prefer the wilderness period to the insane second tour stage we've had this year. When it got up to the American shows the place went nuts. Damn yanks. Too much for me to keep up with.

Also, I predict Simon to go missing. :D

I am looking forward to the time when the forum is dead looking. Gives me more space.

I predict more idiotic pointless threads.

Bored fangirls can be quite dangerous.

That, or maybe they'll go away.

What I was thinking.

Hopefully they'll leave. >_>

I'd go MIA, but I'd just get bored and come back on here to pick fights when I'm pissed, much like I do now.

Nooooooooooo not the chairman!!! :bigcry:

I thought he was already missing?

I'd like for the fangirls to leave... I don't go anywhere near the Coldplay section anymore.

haha this thread makes me laugh..

who is getting married?!

The Viva Experience = a brilliant experience I was proud to be part of! Well I guess it's back to that wilderness of pre June 2008 of sitting patiently for new info on the guys and how the recording sessions are coming along. The creative period begins again!

Well I thought the Viva show was great :nice: BUT THEY REPEATED IT TOO MUCH. THEY HAD THE SAME FUCKING SETLIST FOR MONTHS?!?!?!

:wacky:

Just as long as Radiohead are still around :nice:

I'm gutted Coldplay didn't do more of Square One. They only did a few shows with that song included in the setlist. I would also have liked to have seen Talk in it's full blown capacity and Trouble. Also A Rush Of Blood To The Head and Don't Panic would have been nice. They could have easily incorporated those songs into the setlist. Just look at U2's setlists for their 360 tour. So much variety.

They should have changed the setlist more. I know that's a problem with the lights and video and stuff but Radiohead and U2 do it!

I'm going to watch the mega-fangirls go insane and read all of Roadie 42's blogs. :wacky:

i just reread the timeline over the last few days, and now im PUMPED.

i got goosebumps again when i saw the VLV tracklisting.

this is going to be freaking amazing. i cant wait for things to start happening!

Well, late post-X&Y there were less "idiotic" ones, for sure. They won't go away immediately, but expect by late 2010 - 2011 they'll get bored of the same pics over and over and bugger off (I'm surprised they haven't already, they just seem to be reposting the same ones atm)

Semi, he's hanging around the awards section a bit. Thus my prediction.

YES

(even if I disagree with Trouble and AROBTTH context-wise this tour)

Square One would have been great, sure it didn't look too flash the first few times they played it (mainly Brixton) but hey nothing did

Techno Talk failed epically. GPASUYF less so, but srsly. Talk is an epic sort of song. But nooo

Don't Panic, my favorite and most missed - they didn't play it at all! OH SUCH THE SHAME, beautiful song, unappreciated.

+1 for Don't Panic, I say they'd better come back with a longer and better setlist for the next tourw:whip:

I didn't mind the techno Talk as it was quite funky. The techno God Put A Smile On Your Face was only good because it merged neatly with Talk.

Same here, I think it was pretty cool, expecially Talk :nice:
