DiOli05
Looking for any news of Coldplay miraculously announcing a tour in latinamerica I ran into this thread. I really hope they decide to do one, and to have more than just the 7 concerts they did last time. I remember reading about them and wishing I could afford to travel to any of those places. To the people saying that latinamericans shouldn't complain because we are getting some dates, try to put yourself in a latinamerican shoes. It is the band we love, and knowing that you might have only one chance to see them in God knows how many years isn't easy. Most of the people around here has the opportunity to see them many times in a year, most of us haven't seen them ever. I was lucky enough to be in one concert, but it wasn't till I started studying in the US. And since it was the best experience ever, I think we should complain to our hearts contents, until so many people that has been following the band for so long is able to finally enjoy them in a live concert, and not having to sell a kidney for it. There's also a Costa Rican fan page, so if there's any other fellow Costa Ricans out there that haven't joined, here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/ColdplayCostaRica Most of what they do is posting videos, but if more people join them, they may become a better fan page, I mean, at least they started one... And it is the only active one I've seen so far. Let's bring Coldplay to central america!
fakfak
imagine the band would visit just NY/LA and that's it, everyone would complain. That's how we feel about it, if we want to go to see them we have to go to another countries and spend money we don't really have, that's why some of us complain. In my case I've been waiting for this for a long time and now we have dates, but I don't know if I'll be able to go because I'm just a student without money to spend on flights to another country (and the distances are not like in europe where is easy to go from one country to another), and if I don't go I know I won't see them for a looong time Around a million tourdates in one country and just seven in this continent, even if I'm glad they will tour latin american, still think it's unfair and it's not because there are not fans here, because they could sell out a stadium concert  There are large areas of the United States where touring acts almost never go. I grew up in such a region in fact. It's not like they come and play in every fans local market. It would be nice if bands could play everywhere they have fans, but often it's just impracticable to do so. The band always seem to have nothing but nice things to say about their tours in South America, so I'm sure they'd love to do more places there, but there's a limited amount of time and a lot of places to squeeze into the schedule and some places always get dropped through the cracks. Sucks, but it's a fact of touring.

They got banned or something because of the song Spies.
