Coldplay should include Costa Rica in the Latin American Tour, seriously! We have had Iron Maiden (2 times!), Incubus, Sting, Jamiroquai, Seal, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Heroes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury, Metallica is coming, The Rasmus (I don't like that one), Aerosmith, Enrique Iglesias (=P that one!), Black Eyed Peas, Pitbull (=P), Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, Duran Duran aaaand the guy (...or organization, dunno) who is in charge of the Coachella Festival is also in charge of the Imperial Festival (popular music festival here for bringing international artists).

also Costa Rica it's a good bridge for fans from other countries to come here and enjoy the show.

and Chris Martin had a good time here while staying in the Four Seasons.. LoL but it's true!.

imagine the band would visit just NY/LA and that's it, everyone would complain. That's how we feel about it, if we want to go to see them we have to go to another countries and spend money we don't really have, that's why some of us complain. In my case I've been waiting for this for a long time and now we have dates, but I don't know if I'll be able to go because I'm just a student without money to spend on flights to another country (and the distances are not like in europe where is easy to go from one country to another), and if I don't go I know I won't see them for a looong time

Around a million tourdates in one country and just seven in this continent, even if I'm glad they will tour latin american, still think it's unfair

and it's not because there are not fans here, because they could sell out a stadium concert

If they only came to LA/NY...then I would find a way to get over there and see them, even though I live smack dab inbetween NY/LA. That's how much I love the band.

It was very cool of them to announce a Latin America tour. It obviously shows they listen to the concerns of their fans.

you guys get a concerts that you shouldn't even be getting. I mean come on, give the guys a break. They could of just started the next tour with you guys. Feel happy you are at least getting something. I mean you guys complained the whole time you didnt get any concerts, now you get some and its not enough.

And why shouldn't they "even be getting" concerts? Who are to be making that kind of statement? Coldplay knows exactly what they're doing, and I'm sure they are perfectly capable of figuring out their tour schedule and how much of a "break" they need. And "feel happy you are at least getting something?" What on earth kind of statement is that? Europe had 60something concerts, the US and Canada had 70 or so...South America and Mexico get 7, and they are not deserving of more because you think the band needs a break?

Why shouldn't they be getting them?!?! I think it's just fair they get tour fates like we did.

The US got a bunch of dates, and Europe and everybody else... Why latin americans shouldn't get their share?? Plus I think everybody is perfectly free to complain if they want to.

I understand perfectly people who still have difficulties in seeing them even though they're going to LA... I had they same problems here... you know, we're not all made out of money and we can't all afford to travel anywhere to see them.

Personally it is my biggest dream to see them in as many concerts as I can, they're my life, I couldn't ask for anything better. But my love for them can't really buy ticket flights :cry:...

some people think they come to LatinAmerica as a charity act, but they don't know that sometimes we pay even more than the US/Europe people to see them

And the complain is because, being realistic, when the bands come to LatinAmerica they always visit Brasil/Argentina/Chile and since the past year Perú is a very attractive place for concerts too. But suddenly the Coldplay tour skips Chile and Perú and includes Colombia, it's quite rare considering the big amount of fans (Last (first) time in Chile with the small venues tour the tickets were between 90 and around 250 US$ and the people went to the shows anyway, even if that's a lot of money for most of us).

That.

Besides, no offense, but the US get more dates than Europe does, so it's a bit unfair there too.

So to those complaining about latin americans, shut up, don't be selfish and let latin americans enjoy this, complain, or whatever they feel like doing.

I agree, at least if they went to Chile before, why not go again?

Also, I'm from Venezuela, I'm sure many Venezuelans would love to see Coldplay, and there are stadiums where they can perform

Btw, I live in the US now, and saw CP last Nov after years of wanting to see them.

SO I understand Latin Americans wanting to see them so bad
