November 6, 200916 yr I was down to one pair of contacts and lost the left one. So now I must go through until Monday with one contact in. I should have bought glasses just encase, because of course my eye doctor is closed most the time.
November 6, 200916 yr Author Now I can experience one day like my mom has to experience everyday. She lost vision in her left eye due to cancer, so now I'm going to find out what it's like with one good eye for a few days.
November 6, 200916 yr Author I'm sorry :\ You vision is that bad ? Yeah, thank God for modern science so I can have good contacts, well at least one.:laugh3:
November 6, 200916 yr Oh no... :bigcry: At least it's only for a few days. In the mean time you can... I dunno... wear an eyepatch? :pirate: That way you'll look cool :awesome:
November 6, 200916 yr Nick your threads are more boring than watching paint dry... and that can be excruciating!
November 6, 200916 yr Nick your threads are more boring than watching paint dry... and that can be excruciating! SHUT UP. It's my job to say that. Also, Nick you are an idiot
November 6, 200916 yr I accidentally let my left contact lens dry out a few days ago, so now I have more right lenses than left lenses. I once had to wear one of my contact lenses for two months because I was one short. :shame: Looks like I'll have to do that again...
November 6, 200916 yr I've managed to cope with one contact lens for weeks. It's not great, but it's endurable, as the "good" eye compensates somewhat.;)
November 6, 200916 yr If I didn't have my glasses I would have major problems.... I'm nearsighted and farsighted so, I wouldn't be able to see either way...:P
November 6, 200916 yr If I didn't have my glasses I would have major problems.... I'm nearsighted and farsighted so, I wouldn't be able to see either way...:P Unless you put an eye-patch over one of the eyes ;)
November 6, 200916 yr Unless you put an eye-patch over one of the eyes ;) Then what would I do about the other one?
November 6, 200916 yr Then what would I do about the other one? Nothing, but you would increase your coolness factor by a multiple of 100 ;)
November 6, 200916 yr If I put an eye-patch on my other eye, will it increase my coolness factor by a multiple of 200?
November 7, 200916 yr Author Dont you have any extra pair of glasses for these kinds of occasions? No, and I'm learning my lesson why I should. It was really hard trying to keep one eye closed all day at work and then driving home when it's dark. I already can't see well at night, it was hard. I'm going to buy an eye patch to make it easier for the next two days. i'm legally blind so i know the feeling If you're legally blind do contacts/glasses work?
November 7, 200916 yr I think she means legally blind without her glasses/contacts. :P One of my friends is legally blind without his glasses and he has had them ever since he was around 2 or 3, I believe.
November 7, 200916 yr Author wow, you can drive with one eye? awesome! Not well, everyone around probably thought I was drunk.
