Jude Law as Watson. What great casting.

And of course, Mr Robert Downey Jr. My favorite actor EVER. :wacky:

I agree!! *-* My mother doesn't like the new type of Sherlock Holmes, because she's a HUGE fan of the books and the old series! You people should've seen her face when she saw the trailer, it was hilirious!

Second that!! RDJ is the BEST!! He can play ANYthing!! And Jude fits well the books' description.

eAs for the adaptation, it's pretty clear it's a little farfetched from the books but RDJ can make me believe anything... :D

Well, I've read every single Sherlock Holmes book ever written.

(Which is about 1200 pages of old Enlgish :freak:.)

And I hated the old movie(s).

This looks about a thousand times better. :P

I never read a Sherlock Holmes book :shame:  but I've seen the old series...which I don't like much!

I think I going to read some of the books in Christmas break! :) I have them all at home! :D

  • 2 weeks later...

Saw it yesterday, and OH MY GOD.

It's wonderful. They really stayed to the books which I LOVED.

Robert Downey Jr is literally my favorite actor EVER, so of course I'm going to say no one has ever played Sherlock Holmes better.

It's true.

I was a little weary about Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler, but honestly she did really well.

It's AMAZING.

If you haven't read the books, you probably should to appreciate it more. You have to love the books and the stories to love the movie.

:wacky:
