what does everyone think of these 2 new episodes? I loved the show last year but thought these two episodes were awful...even the Madonna one (and now they are doing a 2nd Madonna episode next season)! yikes

Same here... Madonna episode IMO was bad. I really liked the show at the beginning and these last two shows were not that good.

but i really really like Glee :P

My missus is into and performs in musicals, so when she watches this show I have to leave the room because I find it unwatchable, it's my idea of a nightmare. The fact that their versions of the songs have been released here and played on radio/tv have just added to my dislike.

And the characters are kinda being overdone now. :(

I hate it how they sing in "real life now". Remember the good old days when they used to sing when they were practicing and there would be like fake dream sequences... now it's just too ridic. I'll probably keep watching anyways....

 

PS I was glad to see Phil's note re: Coldplay NOT being haters of Glee... :)

The Poker Face cover made me want to rip my ears out and burn them. :sick:

Well I loved the "Hell-O" episode and when Finn sang that The Doors song! *-* I loved his version! :D

just seen the first part of season 1, oh I love Glee!!! I did feel abit daft that I love a show like this as I am way past my school years, then reading about the celebs who like it! I don't feel so daft now. I just find myself laughing so much, I love Sue, I think if I were a teacher I'd be like her, and I love Will, but in a different way to Sue!!! :wink3:

My hate for Glee is growing...I want it to die. :evil:

Well I just wanna see those coldplay covers coming up, i don't really care about the series itself. They sing really great and that's it :D although they sometimes make kinda bad covers :sick:

Yeah some of the covers are...lacking.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to see them do a Coldplay cover. It depends on who will sing it...but I really don't want it to be Rachel or Mr. S. :sick:

surely they can pull off AT LEAST 'Viva La Vida' & 'Fix You'...

 

i love the show, but i have to admit that not all their covers are good. i didn't like the covers of Beyonce's 'Halo' & Bon Jovi's 'It's My Life' for example...cos they were all hyper doing those songs.

 

& i didn't really like Rachel's take on The All-American Rejects' 'Gives You Hell' either, but then i do know some ppl who love it more than the original. so it's subjective...as music always is.

I don't like this covers too.

If they take Fix you iI hope they don't gonna ruin it. :wacky:

I'm definitely nervous about when Glee and Coldplay come together too. It could be pretty amazing, as some of them have been, but it could also be awful.

 

But anyways my favorite part about the show? Brittany and Santana.

And for some reason I ship Kurt/Mercedes something fierce. And no one else does. Don't you look at me like that. People ship canonically straight characters with members of the same sex all the time. Why can't I do basically the same thing with a gay character? We can call it backslash! Short for backwards slash, of course.
