Strawberry Spam

 

One day Crests went walking in the rain,

As she turned a corner she heard something down the lane

Crests tried to listen very hard,

“I think the noise is coming from my back yard!”

 

She ran down the path towards her house

Snuck around the back, quiet as a mouse,

She peered around the corner and before her eyes,

Saw something that brought her great surprise,

 

Crests said “what the hell is going on here?!”

And as she looked around she recoiled in fear,

There were just some of her Coldplaying mates,

They were climbing the walls and over the gates.

 

Paul was in the corner singing “The Bends”

Along with the rest of his Radiohead friends.

Mark was sitting making up jokes,

Ren was trying to impress all the blokes,

 

Eric was making a up poem about… ham

Emily was there serving out Cresty Spam,

Kelsie said “Hey, can I have some milk with that?”

It turns out she really was a cat.

 

Alyssa threw a taco but it was a near miss,

Shane jumped about and gave Laura a kiss,

As Will gathered everyone into a crowd,

Stephan yelled “GLOCKENSPIEL!” a bit too loud.

 

“What are you all doing here in the pouring rain?”

Crests repeated herself again

“We came to say Hi and give you your surprise!”

Said a man wearing a mysterious disguise.

 

“I‘m sorry“ she said “But who are you?”

She didn’t recognise the man, he must be new.

He grinned and removed the disguise with his hand,

“You know me….. I’m Jonny Buckland.”

 

Crests was in shock, she couldn‘t speak,

The Coldplayers cheered and stamped their feet.

As Jonny picked up his guitar and started to play,

Chris Martin jumped out and pushed him out the way.

 

“We know all about you Crests” he said with a smile

“We’ve watched you on Coldplaying for quite a while”

Jonny picked himself up and looked at Chris as if to say,

“Don’t say that, you’ll scare her away!”
