Anyone here also enjoy a healthy dose of metal between their Coldplay sessions? Not talking about nu-metal type stuff like Korn, etc...but full-on, rippin' metal.

 

Bands like Opeth, At the Gates, and Slayer. Surely there are some metal fans lurking about. People who get the best of both worlds.

i have some sepultura albums that i occasionally listen to.

my dad brought me up on that music so i'm pretty much into it just as much as coldplay or other bands i'm currently into. :)

well my sister is big on the old metal stuff so i like a few of them :)

yeah i like metallica and pantera, alice in chains and some older groups :smug:

i like KoRn very much. they are so good, such as Coldplay

I'd rather listen to Pasty Cline than listen to metal

I listen to Metallica, Opeth, Tool (is tool metal?) Iron Maiden and that kinda stuff

i like Korn. they're great. i also like slipknot........one of their songs is on that ATV3 ps2 game.

I listen to mostly metal. Stuff like Satyricon, Rotting Christ, Gehenna, Amon Amarth, Darkthrone, CoC, Down, Sentenced, and so on...

about all I'm really into is Tool (yeah, I know they're not really metal) and System of A Down I got dragged to a Slayer concert once, and found myself having a really good time, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan. (I'm still looking for some of the Folk Metal stuff you mentioned, Rick.)

I know :nice: My dad introduced me to them...he likes everything from like Iron Maiden to Pink Floyd to Coldplay to Sting...

My best friend can't figure out how I can like a band like Coldplay and still like System (who she can't stand) I don't know why some people think that liking one kind of music rules out liking others as well.:dozey:
