Possibly a new Video from Viva era? (Cemeteries of London)

Featured Replies

Woop! I knew there was something about this song, I SO hoped they would make a video for it :wacky::dance:

I always wondered where this picture came from:

coldplaycemeteriesoflondonStephanCr.jpg

and when I saved it (last in year in summer or so), it already had the title "Cemeteries of London". Maybe it's just a hoax, but still, this is so exciting!!! Ooh boy! :cheesy:

that pic is the f'ing buisness

it looks like itd go with cemetaries of london, the posts and smoke make it look like their about to be crucified or something imo

I did actually envision an evetual Cemeteries Of London music video to be in the style of Violet Hill, mystic, eerie and weak colors. And if it's released as a single I demand a B-side, be it The Dubliners or from the acoustic session .

But it looks like only a video, which is good news in itself, can't get enough of those...

and at the very same moment Cemeteries of London disappeared from the website! An old thing then... :/

Darn. :(

I'm still hoping the video will be released. I can't get enough of Coldplay and their music videos.

If that's true...:stunned::stunned::stunned:...omg:dead: I want something from Coldplay!

Though I think the Viva era is over, there always is a glimmer of hope;)

the viva era technically isn't over. coldplay still has the latin american tour;)

i asked the oracle about this yesterday, i doubt he will answer though

maybe if enough of us spam him with the same question, he'll have to answer it

her?

him?

it?

hermit?

I asked her the other day, too.

I think there's something to this new video for Cemeteries of London thing. After we all emailed Asa Mader and asked the Oracle.

Sounds very interesting, hopefully some more information soon :)

Why shall we ask the Oracle; he will tell us to wait and see. We all know that.

^The Oracle said wait and see for the tour and it came so maybe... We should nag though. Just to make sure.

the oracle won't answer anything like that until anchorman announces it, and then she'll waste a question answering one of them with a link to anchorman's post :dozey:

Now there's nothing else on the video

:disappointed:

maybe they took it off because we asked about it and we aren't supposed to know :P

oh no its gone!! that could mean no video! :(

or it could mean they don't want us to know about it yet... hmmm i hope there end up being one!! :D

It's disappeared? :stunned:

I bet someone involved with Coldplay heard that it was up and contacted them to take it down. Perhaps they were originally going to make a COM vid but not anymore, and forgot to take down that info. :(

i hate that the band don't seem to like col all that much, tis one of my fav songs, i campaigned to get it on the set in 08 and they did then when i saw them in birmingham they'd that day decided to drop it and din't bring it back for a while ;/

Cemeteries of London and Yes are tragically underrated.

Yes was played only a couple of times live and the clip I saw/heard seemed amazing. The extended part at the end of the song is pure rock-out. Wonder why they stopped playing it.
