May 15, 201016 yr Wow. You guys are keen. I have watched the show ever since the pilot aired on TV. From Season 3 onwards, I downloaded them cos they come out weeks after America here. Can't wait that long for 'em!
May 15, 201016 yr I only have season 1. And even though I already paid for it, I'm thinking of just giving it to a friend and buying the six season package when it comes out. :freak:
May 15, 201016 yr I'm gonna buy the whole series when it's affordable. I'll probably just give my S1 dvds to my mum (I got her addicted ). I actually started watching at the end of S1 (well, when those episodes aired in the Netherlands, like a year after the original airdates :dozey:), but I didn't get most of it because I kept missing episodes. I didn't get addicted until I saw S1 and 2 in a row during the summer holidays. I also started following the US schedule when S3 started. The hiatus between the first 6 episodes and the rest of the season was so annoying. :disappointed: So apparently the second part of the finale is airing next Sunday? That is so soon. I DON'T WANT LOST TO BE OVER. :bigcry:
May 15, 201016 yr Yeah, but you know it went quite easily : almost every time I had dinner I watched 1 or 2 episodes, and some days, when I got nothing to do and when the drama was pretty intense I looked 10 episodes a day. And some seasons have less episodes... I think I'm gonna buy the package too, even if I already have the season 2. I downloaded the other seasons and I just really think they deserve my money ! And I'll make my father addict :P

May 15, 201016 yr Doesn't really surprise me! But I think I couldn't re-watch everything knowing the end
May 15, 201016 yr Yeah, but if you wait a year or two the set will be half price. :nice: I'm also really looking forward to this: 400 pages of LOST! Hopefully it'll be worthy of the show. :wacky: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Encyclopedia-Tara-Bennett/dp/0756665949]Amazon.com: Lost Encyclopedia (9780756665944): Tara Bennett, Paul[/ame]
May 15, 201016 yr But I think I couldn't re-watch everything knowing the end  I think the real goal of doing that is to look all the details and see how things have been set up by the writers... I think I'm gonna re-watch the seasons 1 & 2, maybe 3, but I don't know for the others...
May 15, 201016 yr You should definitely rewatch the first three. A second (or even third) time might even be more interesting because you notice so many new little things. I watched 1/2 three times and 3/4 two times. Really looking forward to starting over from the beginning after the finale. :D (and after that I'll probably get depressed or something because Lost is the only show that managed to keep my attention for 5 years - I need a new show to obsess over)
May 15, 201016 yr I know, it's gonna be weird after the last episode! You should try House hehe :D I think the real goal of doing that is to look all the details and see how things have been set up by the writers... I think I'm gonna re-watch the seasons 1 & 2, maybe 3, but I don't know for the others... Yeah you're right! But I'm really wondering if the writers knew since the beginning how it would end... I do think they absolutely had no clue
May 15, 201016 yr No way that they knew. For example, Ben was supposed to be in season 2 only (but I'm really glad they changed their minds about that) and I'm pretty sure Smokey was supposed to be just a machine (instead of a person) until season 5. Honestly, I don't think they started thinking about the ending until season 3, when they negotiated an end date. I liked House for a few episodes but quickly got bored of it. Now I only watch occasionally when it's on tv. I also watch How I Met Your Mother and The Mentalist and just recently Bones again (started that one when it actually began a few years ago, but I skipped season 4 and a big part of 5). I'm not invested in those shows at all.
May 16, 201016 yr I just watched 'Across the Sea'. Don't exactly know what to make out of it, but it was good. I should watch it again sometime, to get my facts right. But I mean, all this time, the whole island and Jacob-MIB story all boils down to this? He wants to leave the island because he doesn't feel belonged? Or is it because he's made in the way that is more non-obliging compared to Jacob? It was good, totally 'Lost orientated'. But somehow... :\ I wouldn't credit it as one of the best episode ever. But I liked the brotherhood between Jacob and MIB. :wacky: And oh yeah, the 'mother' reminded me of that pervy and perky teacher from 10 Things I Hate About You. And it's really her LOLOL. I was reading back the pages and someone pointed about how Richard and Jack couldn't die. I think Jack couldn't die during the dynamite incident was because Richard couldn't die. And the submarine, because MIB can't kill them. As for Richard being immortal, I think Jacob's touch made him that way. And come to think of it, how is Jacob that powerful? And seriously, a FIVE HOUR finale? :o After the finale, a post-finale special of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, titled Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost, will air at 12:05 a.m, showing three joke alternate endings :laugh3: AND BOTH SMOKEY AND JACOB WHEN YOUNG WERE SO CUTE. :cheesy:
May 16, 201016 yr ^Yeah, last episode was weird and a bit empty compared to the one where Jin and Sun die... Btw, why are you calling him MIB? I noticed that no one ever said his name sooo  No way that they knew. Oh yeah you're right, I didn't think about that... Well that's the thing that bugs me with Lost, there could have been hundreds of other ways to end the show, and I'm not sure they took the best one, but let's wait til the last episode (which is more like a movie actually :D) But you see, when Jack and Kate found the 2 bodies (I think it was in season 2), I wondered if the producers already knew who they were supposed to be  How can you get bored of House? Nah I understand, if you don't get into it it must seems repetitive
May 17, 201016 yr There are a ton of great tv shows to get into after Lost. I suggest Stargate: Universe...God, I love it. I also suggest it because it just started this year so there haven't been too many episodes yet. Let me see, though...I watch Fringe (great), Justified (awesome), Merlin (love it), House (sometimes), Breaking Bad (amazing), Spooks (also known as MI-5), Southland (one of my favorites), Spongebob (yes, really), and Supernatural (which is also great). And those are just the current ones! :awesome:
May 17, 201016 yr ^ i second that. :awesome: ^Yeah, last episode was weird and a bit empty compared to the one where Jin and Sun die... Btw, why are you calling him MIB? I noticed that no one ever said his name sooo  used to it, i suppose. :wacky: I watch Fringe (great) yeah, that's a great show! same creators as Lost eh.
May 17, 201016 yr I prefer Smokey to MIB. :wacky: Fringe is pretty mediocre imo. How can you get bored of House? Nah I understand, if you don't get into it it must seems repetitive I do watch it occasionally, but for me it's not interesting enough to really keep track of. Maybe it's too serialized for me. I really prefer the "big mystery" series like Carnivale (if they had continued it :bigcry:) and Veronica Mars (first 2 seasons only). All the other shows entertain me from time to time, but I never keep watching them. By the way, after Lost isn't :awesome:.
May 17, 201016 yr oh i didn't mean it that way. :\ i meant that that sentence was awesome , not the fact that Lost is gonna end. :P random info : i sat for my English test today and the question was an essay letter to a friend. I put 'Dear Jacob' and signed 'Love, Smokie' :wacky: but i forgot how i spelt smokie.
May 17, 201016 yr random info : i sat for my English test today and the question was an essay letter to a friend. I put 'Dear Jacob' and signed 'Love, Smokie' :wacky: hahaha :laugh3: I wish I could write it like that, but I doubt that my teacher would consider "smokie" as a name xD In my english letters I always write Dear Jack and Love John. -_-
May 17, 201016 yr SHIT PERHAPS MY TEACHER WOULD MARK ME WRONG CONSIDERING WHAT YOU SAID LAURA. :uhoh: Dear Jack, I wish you had believed me. LOCKE.
