Can that really be Joey? Matt Le Blanc's grey hair and portly belly betray signs of rapid ageing

He will forever be known as the twentysomething Italian American actor desperate to hit the big time.

But while the re-runs of Friends will forever immortalise him as the youthful Joey Tribbiani, time has not been so kind to actor Matt Le Blanc.

He was snapped leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles last night with greying hair and looking overweight.

Dressed down in a red lumberjack shirt, baggy jeans and trainers, he looked a little awkward when he faced the cameras as he left the sushi restaurant last night.

LeBlanc was only 27 when he started on Friends, which first aired in 1994, and he went on to play Joey Tribbiani for the next ten years.

When the show finished after ten series in 2004, Matt starred in a spin-off called Joey, showing his character moving to LA to continue his acting career, but it was axed after two series.

Last September it was announced that the Friends cast could soon be reunited after they all agreed to make a film version of the show, following the success of the Sex And The City film at the box office.

Matt and Jennifer will join their former co-stars - Courteney Cox, 45, Lisa Kudrow, 46, Matthew Perry, 40, and David Schwimmer, 42 - as well as the show’s creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman to write and produce the film, due in cinemas in the summer of 2011.

James Michael Tyler, who played Central Perk coffee shop employee Gunther, said: ‘Friends: The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen.’

His co-stars have continued their acting success since Friends finished, especially Jennifer Aniston, 40, who has starred in eight feature films since she ended her role as Rachel Green.

But for the past four years, Matt has not been seen on screen since Joey, although he had minor parts in both Charlie's Angels film while in Friends and lead roles in Lost In Space and All The Queen's Men.

He was divorced from his model wife Melissa McKnight, with whom he has a six-year-old daughter Marina, in 2006 and is reportedly dating his Joey co-star Andrea Anders.

Are stories like this popular because they make people feel better about how they look? This is the dumbest article you've posted Mark.

He's not even that fat, and he must be nearing/over 40 by now, I don't think he looks bad, comparing his photos now from 10/15 years ago is unfair.

^I think you're taking it way too seriously. He's an overpaid celebrity who has made pots of cash from his "image", for Pete's sake........................ :dozey:

I wouldn't have taken it seriously enough to feel it was an article worth passing on by posting it in this forum. Same goes for the Victoria Beckham thread about how she looks bad, I can see why little girls care about this stupid crap because as they get into adolescence their friends are talking about hair and make-up, but why do you care? About the next American Idol judge and their appearance? :wtf:

But you are right, considering these threads shouldn't be acknowledged I am definitely taking this too seriously. Nevermind.

Even after all these years I bet he could still pull off the "how you doin'?"

And these posts show just how retarded some people really are:

It probably has to do with the stress of all his major motion pictures.

I think it's more to do with the fact he's "let himself go".:dozey:

It doesn't matter what he expects or not, for me the debate has nothing to do with Matt LeBlanc's feelings (I don't think he'd give a shit anyway) it's the fact this is a story in the first place. So because a lot of stupid people care about this insignificant bile, that makes it ok for you to care about it?

In an ideal world, it wouldn't even be a story. Just a few pictures of a naturally ageing actor coming out of a restaurant. The worst thing is that the same people who look down on him and others for ageing (:wtf:) are the same people who would persecute him for getting surgery. It's no wonder so many Hollywood stars go off the rails on botox and hack jobs, it's lose-lose.

THIS

He's allowed to be fat if he wants

The funny thing is he's not even that fat. He's got a bit of a gut sure, but he's also always been a big guy.

Actually I've realised the main reason he makes these threads, so he can make a "funny" pun and put it in the title such as "Sticktoria Beckham" or "FATT LeBlanc". But there is something funny about these puns, nobody notices them.
