yeah, i thought that a couple weeks ago, and then i bought the album. wow its great. i would definetly recomend it. my favorite songs on there are clark gable, brand new colony, and we will become sillhouettes. theyre all very good though.

Hmmm....try DC sleeps alone tonight, and Sleeping in <<amazing and it is my second favorite song by them. Also the song Brand New Colony has touching lyrics...

 

 

hmmm and if you like the lyrics for such great heights, try the slow version by Iron and Wine<<<he covered that song

the DC sleeps alone tonight is a great song. and i love the lyrics to sleeping in (first song ive heard by them).

 

i heard this band was just a "project". the lead singer is the leader singer for death cab, right? and the female singers are just guests.. i really enjoy this album, and i hope they get toghether again to make more music! :)

the female singer is usually jenny lewis from rilo kiley.

That is funny. When I first heard THe Postal Service, i was spending the night at my friends house who had moved away. I had to sleep on the couch (small apartment) and when he woke up to go to work, he woke me up and let me sleep in the bed while he was gone...and he left his alarm set so when it sounded ..it played the song...sleeping in (he pre set it to that song) and I just knew i would love all the rest of their stuff!

I bought their album ages ago..... but I can honestly say I might have heard it 2x. I need to listen to it more often. I do enjoy 'The District Sleeps Tonight' though...
