Cold weather, snow and rainy

ummm and thats all i can think of for now.haha

The number one song here is a thing by Stan Walker. He's a New Zealander who won Australian Idol so kudos to him I guess, but the song is awful.

I don't like the news. It's the same thing all the time

New trendz becoming fashionable: lace and tulle - even though I bought $50 of materials to make my own damn tulle-ish skirt, a shop is now selling them for $10 when they weren't before. Betches.

News: Huge thunderstorm yesterday

Some guys installed a new "smart meter" for our electricity while I was out today

that's about it

uhhmm Cold cold cold....snow in Rome, little snow flakes here in Naples too...

Berlusconi is once again accused of ties to Mafia....and he's still sitting on his "golden chair".... :inquisitive:.....

According to Brunetta, italian young adults are all "Bamboccioni"....they ask us to be independent from our parents, but they do nothing to give us the means to live alone, there is no job (all temporary employments), salary is not adjusted to the cost of living, houses are too expensive...it's so easy to judge with a lot of money in pocket!! :censored::censored::censored::furious3:

But we have sun....we have food...we have fashion...mmmm :whatever:

It snowed here. No, not a flurry, a legitimate snow.

I know, it doesn't seem much. However, in my part of Texas, snow is a rare occurrence. This is honestly the most snow I've seen in one place. Everything looks absolutely beautiful here, and I have gone picture crazy last night and this morning trying to get every last detail of snow. I made a snow angel, played fetch with the dogs using snowballs, and made a mini snowman using two pennies, a baby carrot, and the snow that gathered on the back of my mom's car. It was amazing. :)

Snow ice cream? How do you make that?

:D

Ingredients

  • 8 cups snow, or shaved ice
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milkshowlist_icon.gif
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Place snow or shaved ice into a large bowl. Pour condensed milk over and add vanilla. Mix to combine. Serve immediately in bowls.

(You can also add chocolate syrup, or any flavour, I suppose)

Wow, OK. Thanks, Kels! :)

I think Shortland Street's the most watched tv series over here. Shortland Street started in May 1992 and it used to be filmed in Browns Bay on Auckland's North Shore. Now it's filmed in Henderson in West Auckland.

America :shifty:

In Buffalo, there's a big thing about the anneversary (lol i prolly spelled that wrong) of the crash of Flight 3407. Sad.

Clothes here depend on your age. High schoolers here usually wear skinny jeans and tight tops (girls I mean, boys wear all sorts of weird baggy things...) but I like to dress a little classier.

We don't really have a hugely popular song here at the moment, things have died down a bit after the Grammy's...I think.

Programs, I like The Office, Modern Family, and American Idol. Everyone had an obsession with Lost, but I never watched it.

:D

Eh, that can't be very good for you. Especially if you live in a city with much pollution...

In New Zealand we have things like paua and pipis (shellfish), kumara (sweet potato) koura (freshwater crayfish), kiwifruit, and we also have pavlova which is a meringue dessert. Another thing we have here is Hokey Pokey ice cream. Hokey Pokey is pieces of toffee.

We say Haere Mai (Hello or welcome), Haere Ra (Goodbye), Aroha (Love).

DOG PEE ICE CREAM WOO HOO
