another one... When you're waiting to make a turn when driving, and there's a car coming and you wait for them to pass and just at the last minute they turn their blinker on.

Same! Its like JUST EFFIN EAT IT :bomb:

But William not explaining what he hates about people who carry napkins is actually becoming a peeve haha. I can't stop thinking about it. Napkins?

YEAH GUYS IT'S COLOUR AND FAVOURITE AND STUFF. :snobby:

People who eat really loud

Firefox disagrees. :snobby:

Then use a British browser instead of an American one. :snobby:

But Firefox is really good.

Are there even British browsers?

:laugh4:

Maybe Firefox was created to force non-Americans to conform to American spellings.

Come on... think of how much time you can save by leaving that "u" out of all those words. :awesome:

:laugh3:

That really wouldn't be much time. I wonder how you'd work that out :laugh4:

Colour > Color.

:nice:

Today our english teacher was trying to tell us that the correct way to spell awful was aweful.

Julie, how else am I supposed to breath while eating?

Breath through your nose :P

People whistling in public places, people carrying napkins with them all the time and people not eating salad along with their food.

You're crazy

Has anyone else ever slowed down their pace so that another person can walk past them, but then you speed up, and slow down when they slow down, and just keep to their pace so its kinda like you're walking with them, but you're not, and they feel kinda weird and awkward because they don't know you but you're walking with them?

No? Me neither.

One pet peeve of mine is when people say "I could care less" when they really mean they COULDN'T care less.

Leaving the protective film on new electronics, wide right turns, leaving hair in a hair brush, bra straps, socks, shoes laces, the word "sucks", the sound of a toilet flushing.

People who walk slowly.

this

People who laugh at other people, thinking that they are cool but they aren´t actually. My dog, that doesn´t let me go to the garden because he follows me all the time. In my country, people who put "s" when there is no "s", and don´t pronounce the "s" when they have to. For example: "Vamo´" (it means let´s go) instead of "Vamos" or "vistes?" (it means "did you see?") instead of "viste?"

1. When someone uses the word 'ironic' to describe something that is a coincidence. Irony and coincidences are not the same thing! You don't know how much this annoys me. :bomb:

THIS!!!!

Donut is the absolute worst offender in this. Couldn't kill you to spell it as DOUGHNUT!

.

You guys do realize donut, color, favorite, theater, mom etc. are in our dictionary, and it would be improper american english to spell them otherwise. As far as we're concerned, you guys are weird for adding unnecessary letters.

Another pet peeve of mine is when someone is so convinced that they're right about something, when they're not right at all.

One pet peeve of mine is when people say "I could care less" when they really mean they COULDN'T care less.

Good one! I hate that and it's so common.

:wtf:

my physics teacher uses past tense after the word 'to'. eg : 'to increased'. :shifty:

yeah. whenever they say 'I don't care' but they actually do. :dozey:

YEAH BUT WE'RE RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG

YEAH BUT WE'RE RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG

Yes, we're obviously wrong now that you said that.

I hate it when people get all butt hurt over the way other people spell words that are spelled correctly in the country which the other person is in. As far as we're concerned, you're wrong.

If you spelled colour, theatre, favourite, mum, or any of those kind of words here, you'd be considered stupid for spelling them incorrectly.
