No, it's not meaningless, a relative of yours (And she wasn't a randomer, she had enough posts and seemed to be a regular poster but I didn't know her) posted about not wanting to know you, it's not just me and Nath who saw it I remember others replied about it (Including a mod) and how weird it was. Now her posts were in a thread that you were replying to, and then suddenly you shutup and didn't make any further responses, clearly ignoring it (Because you definitely wouldn't have missed those posts as you don't miss a thing on here). So why, at the time, did you not deny it? If you want to talk to people at conversation pace though, you should really add them on an instant messenger, that has all the joys of thoughtless typing, combined with the lack of ruining a thread which could be interesting.

 

I don't think it's so much an issue of your communication skills, I've genuinely never noticed a problem, it's just the content, I'm not saying every post has to be thought provoking, but just re-read what you are about to post, like you even admit that what you've posted in this thread was ridiculous.

 

It's not dumb at all, I understand why you have issues interacting with people, I know it's not the same thing, at all, but I used to be terrible with human interaction (Mark will comment that I still am) posting on forums kinda helped in a weird way, they helped me realise I had an opinion worth sharing and that if I worded it right I could actually say something of worth (again Mark will pick up on my more trollish days here) but the point is, YOU CAN DO IT.

It's not dumb at all, maybe you feel awkward being serious, because we usually indulge on being super silly here. You are not dumb at all Crests, just move on and try to post some genuine thoughts, you could still clad them in your nice humorous way. :)

I would love to do that but honestly this is the only place I have where I can talk to people. Though profile messages do work the same way only slower.

 

I actually put a lot more effort into my posts than it seems, but I agree that I don't necessarily think to far into the future about them.

 

Yeah, I think the problem with the interaction and the reason I'm here is all due to the fact that I'm a high-functioning autistic which one part of that is the severe lack of social skills, which I am actually getting help for soon. But don't think I'm using that as an excuse in any way, because I don't like to let it be an excuse.

And I've improved from my trolling days on here at least.

I'm actually learning a lot from being on here, it's nice to make mistakes where it doesn't matter first as opposed to where you can't really get away with making them as easily.

Just to be a bit more clear I really don't mind Crests spammy nature, some people just don't want to write much on a messageboard and that's fine, doesn't mean it makes them dumb or they can't express an opinion in real life. I go through stages where I just post one sentence replies to silly threads because I just can't be arsed.

 

But in the middle of a LOT of discussion going on it can be annoying to see a silly thread kinda clogging it up further.

You'd think with enough people saying that Mark was an ignorant prick that he'd reflect on it and actually evaluate his behaviour, like most normal, functioning people would.

 

However, he seems to derive a certain sort of weird and pathetic pleasure in pushing people's buttons and replying to posts with the same three emoticon smilies. The same can be said in him making painfully unfunny puns and 'jokes' or obsessing on Lady Gaga. Maybe he has deep underlying issues where he needs to do this and get some attention. On this forum he's obviously got some sort of mental deficiency because he cannot or will not face up to the fact that he's annoying and that no-one likes him.

 

Perhaps in a better world everyone would just ignore him, his posts, his threads, his comments, his 'jokes' and his attempts to wind everyone up. Maybe then he'd see himself for what he really is.

No, the guy's like a machine. When he first started posting here he wasn't hated a fraction as much as he is now, for the most part I was the only one drawing attention to the guy. Even though he didn't have a lot of friends or fans, anyone who would laugh at one of his shit jokes or even show him the slightest bit of attention, he leeches anything he can from them. So even if we all tried to ignore him, there will always be stupid new people who don't know better, and that's all he needs.
