England sure know how to test if the peopl'es hearts are working! That was a very very impressive performance by England and had that been a friendly or a qualifying match they would have won 4-0, 5-0 easy. They now know how to win under immense pressure. Could be a very handy and valuable lesson for the England team to take forward. Well done England! Most impressive performance from that group hands down.

You quite obviously were watching a different game. They kept posession easily, they created so many chances to the one chance of Slovenia. 1-0 was a travesty of a scoreline in that they didn't score 3, 4 goals more and only a dunce will not realise that. And anyone thinking Rooney played as badly as he did against Algeria and USA clearly no nowt. He didn't lose the ball, he created openings, connected REALLY REALLY well with Gerrard and Ashley Cole. The only thing that was missing was his shooting boots. If you think otherwise then you're in denial. End of.
