Favorite Coldplay song ever...

I'm really tempted to say Amsterdam. So much emotion and feeling in it... I love so many Coldplay songs, but that one really speaks to me.

I guess I would have to say clocks. It was the song that made me get into coldplay and, for me, it's unbeliveably beautiful. I love the lyrics and what's that piano intro? I totally trip listening to it. Somehow that intro reminds me of totally freedom. :)

A Rush of Blood To The Head (live 2003) and ... Cemeteries of London with I Ran Away follow :nice:

It will sound is banal, but Сlocks is my life!) every single word, every single chord, every single sound has been lived too deeply...)

Fix You because it relates to my life to the highest degree. Literally every lyric.

Maybe the Scientist, but there are so many of their songs which could be my fav :nice:

wow this thread is old! :stunned:

Anyway, I just  Parachutes, even though it has to be the shortest, I love it! It was the first song I ever heard by them actually, not Clocks, not Yellow, just Parachutes. :pleased: It always has been, and shall remain, my very favorite. :awesome: A close second though would be See You Soon.

Aha, it's pretty hard to anwser.... Fix you, The Scientist and Amsterdam, I think...But impossible to choose...

God Put a Smile upon Your Face.

The actual music with the drums, guitar, and whatnot is just perfect and intense. It completely grabs my attention. Plus, I love Chris' vocals on that song, especially when he . . . uh, "belts" out "As good as MIIIIIIIIIINE."

The song is rockin'.

I still like Politik,Sparks,Strawberry Swing,Postcards From Far Away,Parachutes and Life in Technicolor II.

If I had to pick one...... It would have to be Violet Hill...

But Yellow comes close. What can I say? I love songs with colors in their names

What can I say? I love songs with colors in their name

Parachute : Trouble

AROBTTH : Amsterdam

X&Y : Fix You / Square One

VLV or DAAHF : Violet Hill / Death and all his friends
