So i literally had to pull over in my car when i first heard this band. I'm driving along happily and holy shit, the first few chords of "Letters from the Sky" had me blown away. They are from South Africa! they have been getting alot of play time on Satellite radio! love them!

It's funny; I just heard these guys for the first time today! :stunned:

I think the song you posted was decent and the song I heard on the radio (don't remember what it was called) was okay. I don't see myself getting into these guys, but they aren't bad.

EDIT: Upon closer listen, the song you posted WAS the song I heard on the radio today.

I'm on a new music excursion right now, and it brought me to this thread. This stuff is so pretty. :wacky: I've always been a sucker for music that's chockful of keyboards. Thanks, Christa, for creating this thread. :nice:

Artist to look out for: Civil Twilight

Author: Diana Glogau Asst. Release Editor

Published: April 23, 2010

Hailing straight from Cape Town, South Africa, newcomers to music Civil Twilight really know how to impress. This three-piece rock band fuses guitar, piano and soft vocals to create a sound similar to that of Coldplay, The Fray and Muse. Release got the chance to talk to lead singer Steven McKellar about his band, the transition to the United States and its goals for the future.
