Thanks, the cover is really great, but the problem is, I don't really know how to play guitar chords ;< ...

well, it's just like normal chords on piano. ignore the fact it's made for guitar, use them for piano. :D

for eg : G chord = GBD

and so on.

unless i've got your point wrong?

You got it good I think :D

It's just me - an idiot, who is reading from sheet and don't know the chords

So I have to finally learn it. If I have some problems, I hope you don't mind me asking here?

yeah sure :D

just remember your arpeggios and broken chords.

and don't call yourself an idiot, it wasn't idiotic. :D

Mhm luckily I know what arpeggio is, but don't have idea about the broken chords.

So I searched and found great page with yhm A LOT of chords. So I tried to play that song, but it still doesn't sound like that ;<

Broken chords is arpeggio

chords are just like guidelines to playing a song. you have to figure out how to play the tune by yourself, but the left hand uses the chords.

 i don't think i'm being of much help. but using chords requires some hearing skills, which after a while, you get the hang to it. :P

  • Author

Yeah...I have to get some more skills.

But my piano arrives today ! I'm so excited :D

Please, could you write then, how to play this?

you've been using a keyboard?

what do you mean by write? i've never tried I Ran Away on piano. been off Coldplay songs for a bit now. :D

  • Author

Yes, is that so weird xD

Eh, you asked about that in the other topic, so I thought you learned it

it's not weird :D keyboards are awesome.

i asked about it, but i didn't say i played it. :awesome: :rolleyes2:

i'm really off coldplay songs for a bit. once in a while i will play some just for the sake of playing a song on the piano. haven't been listening to coldplay songs too.

btw, I'm sorry for your country's loss. :(

  • Author

Sorry, it looks like I made a conclusion too fast.

Heh, and I'm playing almost only Coldplay songs.

Thank you...

When i was crazy for Coldplay, i played mostly Coldplay songs.

so, did you try I Ran Away?

ouch. :\

takes practice i suppose. first time playing by ear?

oh yes, have you got your piano yet? :awesome: is it good? different from keyboard eh.

  • Author

I usually play using sheets, or sometimes tutorials when sheet is not available, and then I'm trying to interpet it my way. so yeah...

Ahh my piano is awesome! I fell in love with it :awesome:

But still I should practice on keyboard, and I'm not doing do that -.-

why practice on keyboard instead of piano?

but i have to say, keyboard has its benefits. technology can do anything. even better is the synthesizer. :awesome::awesome:

  • Author

I don't know I think that practicing just the notes is better on keyboard because it's easier or something. And I don't want my neighbours to think about me as a bad piano player

Yeah. You're absolutely right, but I just couldn't resist the piano.

oh the years my neighbours had to bear with my horrid piano playing and the endless exam pieces practice.

the piano definitely has a greater feel to it. if you know what i mean. it's like sitting behind a grand piano and playing it, instead of something like an upright grand.

  • Author

Of course I know what you mean :D

Piano has this...um soooouuuul

yeahhhhhh! the feel to it.

but keyboard and its technology is still freaking amazing.

  • Author

Even tough my keyboard soooo sucks, I love it's organ sound. Um can't imagine what would it sound like on better keyboards.

SYNTHESIZERS ARE EVEN BETTER! :awesome:
