Most of the major plot and character points from the books have pretty much been reduced to sight gags. Which isn't quite as bad as it sounds- it's mainly a time thing.

 

But the result is that most noobs seem to get it pretty well. The jokes come so fast that anything they don't get is just another joke that went by too fast.

I read some of the comics aaages ago. Haven't seen the movie yet. Look forward to it!
