not sure, i think the concept is the same, but Marmite is made from yeast extract and is very salty and bitter. What's vegimite like?

I guess it's salty and bitter. It's ingrediants are..I have no idea but I'll go check cause we have some ;)

I'm guessing it's like Marmite.

I actually think I remember eating Marmite when we went to England lol.

ok vegemite does pretty much equate to marmite. Marmite is vegetable based too...just has an aussie name :)

no idea what marmite is.

marmite makes me sick but i had vegimite on toast once and it was ok, but erm.....yeah i like pie :cool: :lol:

i've never had marmite and don't think i ever will. it looks too gross, and the ingredients don't even sound appealing.

 

i think i'm in the minority of americans that actually know what it is, though.

It is good in sandwiches etc!!
