I get e-mail alerts from e-bay when things are posted that are related to Coldplay. I was so impressed with this jacket - completely hand made and really stinkin close to the original. I would buy it if I was in the market for a look-alike jacket that will probably never be worn by Mr. Martin again. Still, really awesome. :)

Pretty close, I have to give him that. But, 100 dollars? Really? :rolleyes:

I'm not sure why everyone is gagging at the $100 price tag. I'm guessing the materials cost $20, at least. I don't have experience in regard to how long it would take to make it, but I'm going to guess 10 hours. So if you take off the $20 materials, that means he's charging $8 an hour for labor. That's barely over minimum wage.

 

I'm not saying I'd buy it, but when you break it down... it's reasonable.

I totally think it's reasonable for a handmade garment. I think it's pretty amazing that someone could create such a thing! :)

There's another jacket out on eBay now that's even more expensive. To me it doesn't look as authentic.
