Lights on or off?

Featured Replies

No, this isn't about sex. :uneasy:

When you're in your room, do you like to have the lights on or off?

I prefer lights off or a tiny little lamp.

Lights on, because dark rooms make me feel depressed.

off... used to have a nightlight when i was a kid, but now that i think of it there was no point because i could barely see it

Depends on what I'm doing, and how bright/dark it is outside. I usually leave them off tho.

i find it hard to sleep with the light on... plus in a sense what's the point of a light if you'll be sleeping anyway?

Well I don't sleep with light on.

Just when I'm in my room, I have the light on.

Lights off.

But I hate having to turn off the lights and go away with the lights off. That was a complicated way to explain it.

Well, I have a phobia. Can't sleep with lights off. I should edit my first post tho, cos even if the lights are off the tv is on, so it lights the room a bit.

always off

its better for the environment and electric bill

it makes sense. I can sometimes fall asleep with the tv on or something. but I can't sleep if the lights in the room are on

The light in my room didn't work, so I used my lamp.

So it was somewhat dark, and with just a little light.

When my light in my room got fixed, it felt too bright in my room :uhoh:

So I guess I like it dark

Thinking about it I rarely go in to my room.

I wake up in the mornings, dress my bed and tidy a bit...leave..

then I go down late at night and i can't turn on the light because my sister is more than likely already sleep.

for me it depends on the artist... i really like to fall asleep to jonsi & alex's "the riceboy sleeps"... very relaxing, puts me to sleep. you should try that one, but not too loud, just enough so you can hear it

I've tried it many times. I just can't. I pay too much attention to what I'm listening to.

Lights on if I'm doing something, or even just awake. Sitting in the dark kind of creeps me out, sometimes.

There's no monster under your bed :P

When I was younger I used to have a light on so I could read better.

But now I don't read so much and I can sleep easier with the lights off :P
