Well to defend the FanFic thread, This goes on in any bands fansite, well most, it's just a crazy fun thing that they do, it is very entertaining, and the girls and guy's that write the stuff have brilliant stories, that are FICTION and FUN... These people know better than anyone, this is seriously NOT happening in the real world, I mean look at the movies, and how some straight actors play themselves as gay or lesbians, it's all for entertainment for those interested in reading this stuff, so buzz off and don't read the thread, but you did say it makes you laugh, so keep reading cause like I said, it's entertainment.;)

Roadie #43 is totally not female, and he HAS seen Cold-gayness occur, specifically between Chris and Jonny (although rumor has it that all of them would go gay for Guy, including Phil, and Phil is straight as can be). He even has photographic evidence! He refuses to share it with anyone, of course. Not because he doesn't want to get in trouble, though, but rather because he'd rather get turned on by the pictures himself. What a perv. :dozey:

I actually haven't read it yet. I was actually talking about the "LOLDplay" thread. At first, I thought, "Some of these pics are pretty funny!" Then I saw some more pics that would fall under the "Coldgay" category. :laugh3: I find it all quite entertaining.

Slash seems to be common to all fandoms, not just ones centred around bands. It actually seems to be worst in scifi and genre stuff, but bands do seem to particularly encourage it by being close irl out of necessity, probably from touring.

 

I find the best solution is just to point and laugh, since nine years after my introduction to the genre (the original Secret Fellowship Diaries 0.o (...still not king yet)) being creeped out still doesn`t work.
