:cheesy:

I Googled this, and apparently, this is an Elton John cover. Interesting.

Yeah, I haven't heard the original before. I love Theo's voice here.

My Sunday bundle arrived today. :cheesy:

So jealous Kelly. :bomb:

I would have ordered that in a heartbeat if they would have given non UK peeps the signed artwork. :bigcry: </3

I think i'm in love with Theo's voice. :wacky:

Also, Live Like Horses is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. :bigcry:

Christina, "pissed" is British slang for "drunk."

This is news. :|

How do you even know this Violet? :P

If you submerge yourself in British society enough, you start to pick up on some things. :nice:

It's also very helpful to have a British slang dictionary handy, in case something happens like this.

The British slang dictionary made me laugh.:wacky:

Why, is it not accurate? :uhoh:

No, it's just that half the words in there I haven't heard of before. :P

Ohhh. That's weird.

I was actually surprised to see how many terms in there that I use on a regular basis. I wonder what this says about me...

Are you secretly British, Violet? :inquisitive: :D

I just realised Theo is from Richmond ... which is only like 15 minutes away :surprised:

and I saw the new video on NME yesterday :wacky:

You know, I think I very well may be. A lot of my favorite bands are from Britain. I subconsciously use British terminology. (I have forever adopted the term "university" for what other Americans refer to as "college.") I can now (at least, to a degree) tell apart regional dialects of the UK.

I actually had a kid in the 8th grade once ask me if I was from England. I have no idea how she came to that conclusion. At all. :freak:

I think I would enjoy being British very much.

Haha thanks Violet. :awesome:

You're quite welcome. :nice:

Hey, Christina, you wanna be a pseudoBrit with me? :cheesy:

We have a lot of slang words :surprised:

I just use them without even noticing :blank:

Baha! It's fine, Kat. :nice:

Brit music rules!:smug:

So now I'll be seeing Hurts at least twice this year, as they've announced a summer date in my area.

Lucky you :nice:

Seen as my mum has taken a liking to them I may be able to persuade her to take us if they have any UK dates later this year :awesome:

Well as Hurts have a very "Eighties" sound, I reckon you're in with a good chance!:D

They are playing V. :awesome:

I do hope they add some more UK tour dates, as I won't be able to see them at the festivals they are playing.
