August 16, 201015 yr I only like No Surprises Fake Plastic Trees High and Dry and Creep ...in that order. I dont care for the rest of their stuff that much.... and no, not because i "havent developed my musical taste" or because i dont "understand it" just because.... i just dont.
August 16, 201015 yr i really like Karma Police. it was that and Exit Music that were the first Radiohead songs I liked. Not a fan of High and Dry. It's not bad but very un-radioheadish "Exit Music" is great, too. :nice: How exactly is it unRadiohead, if I may ask? LEAVE ME ALONE, IT'S NOTHING SERIOUS I'LL DO IT MYSELF, IT'S GOT NOUGHT TO DO WITH YOUUU AND THERE'S NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DOOOOO  SO COME IN MY CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE.

August 16, 201015 yr To the OP: You probably just did a poor job of introducing your friend to Radiohead. Liking Radiohead is a very gradual process. It's like trying LSD for the first time. You have to mentally prepare yourself for it before you just dive into the deep end, or else you'll have a bad trip. I never just hand someone an album and say HEY LISTEN. Radiohead is way too complex for that. You have to prepare yourself. Really? It's not like it's minimal techno, or even Sigur Ros. Radioheads pretty accessible, especially OK Computer (Though not as much as The Bends).

August 16, 201015 yr "Exit Music" is great, too. :nice: How exactly is it unRadiohead, if I may ask? to me the song is very popish and they don't seem like the kind of band to make really pop songs. it's hard to explain.
August 16, 201015 yr I think Creep is funny, I mean the lyrics seems to be written by an emo teenager :uhoh: this
August 16, 201015 yr lol creep. Thom Yorke refuses to play it apparently. He also said he heard it somewhere and didn't even realize it was them. Rarely do they play it, such as Marley Park in Dublin summer 2006.
