The Hitchhiker's Guide to Coldplay

Featured Replies

Has anyone else seen the similarities between Coldplay's songs and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? Just take a look at 42 and Don't Panic:thinking:.

Anyway, come in and help contribute to The Hitchhiker's Guide to Coldplay! All you have to do is write a comment or short article about anything Coldplay and post it here!

If you write a good entry to the Guide we'll send you a free Coldplay band member* clone**, your choice.

I noticed the similarities, but I remember Chris saying that he had never read the books before :\

Coldplay work with Brian Eno, Eno has met with Richard Dawkins, Dawkins was a close friend of Douglas Adams, longshot?

Kind of but "Don't Panic" was before the Eno days. :)

Still, it's a connection

Sure Chris never read the books

And Coldplay will call it quits at 33:rolleyes:

And that never happened

So maybe Chris DID read the books

Coldplays next hit single will be called Thanks for the Fish.

I heard the new album is called "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe."

Really? I heard it would be called "The Paranoid Android."

how did chris not read hitchikers guide if he sings about 42 and considering it is 'the answer to the universe' and even Oracle answered a few questions about it...

well, you don't necessarily need to have read the books to know about that.

perhaps he watched the movie :P

or maybe someone else in the band read it and told him about it?

dont u think it might be a coincidence? :P
