World of Music Fangirls

Featured Replies

Ok this thread is not to be taken seriously, I am just curious.

Do you think the level of fangirls has risen in the WoM section since Coldplay has finished VLV?

It almost seems as if there are little communities of fangirls in the WoM section now that I didn't notice last year really. I find it funny that's all.

And does the extra fangirls/ fangirlin' bother others?

The poll is there just for kicks & giggles.

I myself am a post-VLV member, so perhaps your statement is accurate.

ZOMG, I'm a statistic. :surprised:

Anyway, it doesn't really bother me at all. But then again, I'm a fangirl, so I can't really say that.

not necessarily the best fangirls, but I voted for Mew because I feel that I find that band talked a lot about all over

Yeah, perhaps when LP5 is released, the fangirls in this section mightn't be so many.

I've got to say, the fangirls do bother me a little, just because the threads are always at the top and they aren't all that interesting.

Maybe if the fangirls took their tops off. :D

i think i have negative perception of fangirls because of the coldplay ones

Nothing wrong with it.

I do not go around living my life like a fangirl, online is just a place to share admiration you have for someone or a band with other fans.

I also feel there are more fans in the world of music section because yes Coldplay are away at the moment, giving fans the opportunity to discover other bands.

That!

I would think there would be more fangirls with every album released seeing as as time passes and they release more and more music more and more people would discover them. Meaning more fans.

Like Miss Spies said, theres nothing wrong with it. Especially at a young age.

I think its funny that the non-fans look down upon the fangirls when the fangirls are (from what Ive noticed) the nicest people on here.

And 99% of the fights on here involve people who arent even fans at all.

Its.... interesting

But like I always say, everyones a fangirl/boy of SOMETHING.

unless of coarse there is absolutely nothing in the world you really like or have an emotional attachment too... and that is just sad.

Maybe if the fangirls took their tops off. :D

You dog, you.

Those darn fangirls, darn them all.

I didn't notice because I wasn't here before, so..

I guess I'm one of them, or the leader, so come and throw garbage at my face :disappointed:

Since we are on the subject, if I'm the biggest fangirl of the biggest fanboy of Metric... does that make me Metric's biggest fangirl? :inquisitive:

I don't want to brag, but that comment is designed for a sig.

I don't understand the terms fangirls or fanboys.

What happened to simple fans?

Simply being a fan of something would make me think that they really liked it and took a large interest in it. Putting gender in to it makes it seemed based too much on sex, and with music, if you are basing it around sex it's majorly shallow. That should be a nice bonus if the band you like have a sex appeal. I always thought of fan as a strong word, and if it was just a band you liked but didn't go crazy over you just said you liked them, or they were decent.

I'm a groupie and all these bands who likes and want the groupies.

although I missed the band Mew and Apparatjik (is Martin, Guy, Magne, Jonas) in there fangirls ?

I always thought they were like not as the others band.

(and told the guys from the band Mew themselves in interview )

but they are in fashion. I do not know.

HS I was an designer fashion mode and it's not a good job, I hate so hard .

I put kasabian because hots guys who want groupies. but especially a man in the band who has affairs with groupies U2's fans in their forum said, not me .

I don't understand the terms fangirls or fanboys.

You're so serious .

I voted Blur/Gorillaz/Damon Albarn fangirls because they just don't seem to take them seriously! They make me laugh . And yeah, Damon Albarn is so HOT it kills me sometimes :bomb: haha.

exact

and more the groupies who is more interested in sex of the singers but less in his music. the fans is who loves music but does not think or less to put the singers in bed.

after you have bands that want the groupies in their bed. there was lot. examples, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bowie, Bon Jovi but especially in the metal music is a common practice.
