October 29, 200322 yr Well, that's true. I guess i was unrespectful. Sorry. What I really meant with my statement was that, religion, as it is some places today - under infuence by people who wants more than just faith and comfort (if you know what I mean), has changed into a "voice tube" for exactly those people. That's what sucks. I guess i got to carried away. I'll show some more respect next time. :/

October 30, 200322 yr hmm getting very deep here! I guess everybody will have their own opinion, and mine is that we are all going to die- nothing can stop that, and having a strong faith to base your life around will give you reasurance of where you are goin after you die. I was brought up a christian so all these things have been made aware to me. To all those people who say religion suck- how do you beleive we got here? where will we go WHEN we die? What is your reason for living? You are in a minority not to belive in some sort of god within the world. Some of you will probably claim to be athiest, can you say honestly you have never prayed to some sort of god when you are desperate in need of soemthing? Im soz i prob sound like some sort of crazy religious monk, but thats jsut the way im feeling at the moment!
October 30, 200322 yr I'm pretty sure Chris's family are Christian - I know his parents go to church a bit. But that doesn't mean to say that Chris himself is.
October 31, 200322 yr yeah victoria i think i read that in an interview on the web somewhere as well, something about having a christian family ... erm buy I cant remember quite what he said... but then there is the possibility that I have been hallucinating again... "please nurse, please not the tranquilliser again!! nooooo" (writhes around frothing at the mouth) :stunned: :wink3:
November 1, 200322 yr ^ You guys I once went to a Christian church (I'm sorry if this offends any of you, but this was like a religion shock or whatever it's called....) 'cause I was invited by my friend, and she just kept on insisting of me going to her church, and then I said "okay, fine I'll go" and then we went and we got there and there was no angels in there... only a big Cross on the middle and that was it and they kept on singing and singing and singing and then all of a sudden they all started crying?!!!! :stunned: I was just shocked 'cause I'm not used to that... and when I first got there, they brought to the front of the church while everybody was sitting and they welcomed me and everything and gave me some stuff... and everything... and now that I start remembering I still get kinda shocked... :/
November 1, 200322 yr nah doesnt offend at all I know that some religious people are kinda kooky, my sympathies liquidsky! ;) Ive grown up in a christian family myself and I know all the ins and outs of that kind of thing. Some of it is merely hype. Its kind of a miracle that i still believe in god coz there is so much that upsets me an angers me in the christian church. However there are three or four wonderful people I know who sometimes make me wonder if perhaps there really is something behind it all they are very different to anyone else I know, in the way they treat people, its if they have something bubbling away in them ... but I dont know what I think really. Im still searching for answers in many ways. Gosh this post is getting deep :o :D
November 2, 200322 yr ^^^ yeah it is getting deep Well it was just strange to me but it was a religion shock I think it's what it's called... but they all sudenly started crying and that freaked me out the most... :/ I'm Catholic so I believe in angels, in a family, and God of course... even though I don't go to church much.... :)
November 2, 200322 yr that cross doesnt sound like a christian church well i dont know im mormon we dont really have big crosses with jesus on it in our churches hmmm
November 2, 200322 yr I'm Sorry for that question........... but I don't know any mormon and I just heard about them fot the Olimpics and how important they were in Salt Lake ( I suppose we are talking about the same people)
November 2, 200322 yr Wel I read they were important there............... Like a big community May ask, what difference, in general term, you have with Catholic people ? (I don't know much about these religions)
November 2, 200322 yr I know they are not the name.. the name says so.. but is like Opus Dei and Catholics 8that kind of difference9 or like teh Jehova´s witness difference with Catholics or they are just different.....
November 2, 200322 yr hmm well we both have the priesthood (im not going to get into whos wrong and right but yeah you know what im saying) but the catholics i believe got it directly from jesus christ... and eventually had a woman pope, 2 popes at the same time and even no pope at times.... where as we have prophets and not popes
