To greet other men yes, but to I would much rather get kissed on the cheek than a bone crushing handshake.

I love both hugs and kisses. They give both completely different feelings. Hugs are more warm and fuzzy and (obviously) kisses are more passionate, and they tell you a lot about someone.

That is a fair statement but girls are always hugging upon meeting.

True. I guess it just depends on the person.

Strong handshakes can fuck off. I never do a strong handshake. Just a slight grip. I'm not doing a handshake to establish my role as alpha male (that's already apparent :p), I'm doing it to greet someone. But yeah, I wouldn't shake hands with a girl because a hug lets me press against their boobs... :blank:

So you Chest bump in a Job interview

I wouldn't mind that, but when a guy does a really strong handshake on me, I really hate it, some men have no manners or brains I suppose, glad you're more considerate though:).

I find cheek-kissing very awkward. I definitely definitely prefer hugs.

Exactly. :P!

Nah, I do shake hands in interviews. I just don't like it.

Ughh I Hate that

Cheek-kissing is really common over here and that's probably why i don't find it akward :uhoh:

It's not common here... the only person who kisses me on the cheek is my grandma :blank:

Girls always greet me with a kiss on the cheek even if it's the first time i meet them , i don't mind at all :wacky:

Is it normal to kiss someone on the cheek for a job interview?

@Reilly: Not here. It's seen as something really reserved for close friends + family and such.

Yeah , even here it's akward when it comes to something more formal like a job interview but all the rest you mentioned is fine.

I would not want that contact with a person I had just met. It would also have to be a kind of everyone or no one rule too, because if you were meeting a group of people who were all really nice and then one who clearly had bad hygiene then you couldn't kiss the cheeks of everyone but that person, and I sure as hell am not going to be kissing them, so the others can fuck off if they are expecting one :p

This. Only my grandparents do it.
