So I was on wikipiedia looking at the the film. To see what the reviews are. I scrolled right over the whole plot. That scared me to death thank god I didn't see any of it. It's gonna be hard not to read it.

I bought my tickets Monday night. :awesome: Hard to believe the premiere is finally tonight.

Shit...I just read the whole fucking plot. I will forget it in a day...man is that amazing. I'm sorry guys. Send the dogs after me, because that's what needs to happen.

Don't spoil anything, BUT: is it awesome?

I guarantee 110% that the movie will be awesome. It's a Christopher Nolan film, therefore it's gold!

Tonight I went to see The Amazing Spiderman with a friend, and then we were chatting and I told her I was very excited about The Dark Knight Rises, and she told me she wanted to see it as well. So we decided that we'll go see it together when it comes out (in France it's next Wednesday :bomb: ).

But then she told me one tiny little detail.

She has never seen any Batman movie. Ever. :|

Oh boy, I'm gonna have to explain everything to her, aren't I ?

Yes the plot is amazing. The ending sounded great too. Take a look at this mighty fine looking photo. It's spoiler free. :wideeyed:

She must see Batman Begins and The Dark Night before Wednesday!

^ You can always tell her to read the plot summary on Wikipiedia.

I need to see this. :bomb: I may do what I did with Spider-Man and go tomorrow by myself. :P

*nerd*

My friend who is a true blue Batman fan was disappointed with the movie. Which is shocking.

Now I'm worried. :\

Pfft! I watched Spiderman by myself and planning to watch this on my own as well. You're not the only nerd. ;)

I want this movie NOW, I don't care for any other super hero films (maybe Spider-Man 1 and 2), but Nolan's movies are amazing! I just hope I love it as much as Batman Begins (wich is my favourite).

^ This. I'm gonna see it tomorrow...I am 90 % sure haha. I loved the original Spidey series. Probably because I grew up with it. But Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone steal the show I can't deny that. This Spidey trilogy feels more gritty and real. Not to mention it has an amazing story.

^ I haven't seen it yet, and I'm gonna have to wait until the next friday to see TDKR, me and all other brazilians :P, our release date is July 27

I have yet to see the The Amazing Spider-Man, but the original trilogy is my all-time favorite movie trilogy. The series was rebooted way too soon.

Here's how I'm viewing TDKR: (mind you, this might be a tad long.)

I look at this Batman series as I do with the incredible Uncharted series. Uncharted 1, for its day, was not only incredible, but something we haven't seen before in a video game. It had action, an awesome story and a well-done 'origin' story.

Batman Begins was just that. An awesome origin story and a take on Batman we hadn't seen on-screen, yet. While it started this reboot of Batman, it only went up from there.

Uncharted 2 came along in 2009, and holy shit was it mind-blowing. Literally everything that could be fixed from the first Uncharted was fixed, and it brought along tremendous new features, that multiple games have copied and incorporated into their games since. It won many awards and is considered one of the best games of the past decade.

Look at The Dark Knight. Before it was even released, this movie was hyped beyond reason, and for good measure. The cast was outstanding, the plot and characters were so well created and executed, this cinematic masterpiece is also considered one of the best movies of the past decade.

When Uncharted 3 was announced in 2010, something about it felt off. As in, my expectations were still high, but there was no way they could top Uncharted 2, and, if they could, then I would call myself a liar. But, when it released last November, I wasn't blown away like I was with Uncharted 2. It lacked something. (It was still superb, but no where near its predecessor.)

I fear the same for The Dark Knight Rises. I don't carry a doubt it will be anything short of amazing, but I feel it will not be anywhere near the greatness of its predecessor, unfortunately. Again, if it's better in my eyes, I'll call myself a liar and take all this back, but I've learned to not hype something up like I did with Uncharted.

Whether it lives up to it or not it will be an amazing movie.

UPDATE: Totally wrong. Best of the series. :awesome: Holy crap.
