No, should I have?.

Seeing as it's the UK's answer to "The L Word", definitely!:P

I thought the L Word was shit, just because I'm a lesbian doesn't mean I want to watch an irrtating show with irrtating characters swapping girlfriends all the time and gossiping at a Hollywood coffee shop, just saying :).

This. Truest thing ever.

Oh the stereotypes...

Lady GagGa must die; no questions!!! :whip:

:stunned:

I guess you heard about Sharapova's engagement, though.:P

No I hadn't but I'm not heartbroken, I have a gf I'm very happy with and my celebrity crush has long since moved on to Maya Von Doll.

Did you find any of them believable?, I've only seen a couple of episodes but hated it, and the way people think, oh you like girls you will instantly relate with the show because of your sexuality is complete bullshit too.In fact I wonder who actually watched The L Word?, too slow and not enough sex for men, irritating to most lesbian women, really it was terrible, Showtime have made far better shows.

Singer and frontwoman of the SohoDolls.

Is she straight?

I watched like 2 seasons of it, but after a while, it just got boring and redundant. They give such a weird image of what being a lesbian is. We're not all whores who run around LA, flirting and having sex like horny bunnies with whichever lesbians we find. Bleh.

My girlfriend did watch the L Word and loved it, hahaha, she will kill me if she reads that though :uhoh: and I know a few lesbians who did like it but most of the rest of them didn't really care.

I saw the L word once and found it to be totally 2 dimensional, I can't remember what happened or anything about it. Writers for modern day social issues are pretty ridiculous, they tend to polish up homosexuality and disability to get a bigger viewing audience.

I'd love to see a television show or film about characters of a sexual preference or disability that is actually about a story instead of completely focussing on the context of how they are viewed as members of society.

How many of the stars were real lesbians?

Two of them are gay, three of them bisexuals and the rest is straight.

There is also one who doesn't want to talk about her sexuality.

I'm the same, I didn't hate it or anything but thought it was pretty inaccurate and found it pretty dull viewing.I know exactly what you mean about the image they give us, I'm sure some people now would think if they introduced me to another gay girl at a party or whatever within 5 minutes we would be off having sex:laugh3:, and it sort of takes away the idea of having a loving meaningful relationship with only one person is as much the norm for us as it is for straight couples which I don't like.

I've got nothing more to add :P :)

That's fair, I think that would have pissed me off too:laugh3:.

Especially since I was in elementary school, so there were like third graders doing that. :| I wanted to punch the feakin annoying midgets.

That BAM BAM BIDUM BAM BAM BIDUM DUM thing was fucking annoying.

How can we talk about Rhianna without talking about SOS? That songs a fucking beast!

I thought it fit well with the song though. . .

Haven't heard it. :anxious:

SAAAME... I feel sick whenever I hear that song now. And I used to like it. :blank:

Ja me too. :\

A bit like Chris then really:laugh3:

OH SHNAP!

Well as the topic in question is clearly to do with bashing pathetic pop stars such as Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Lady Gargoyle, anyone not interested in doing that should quit the thread!

But then we will be a family of QUITTERS

You put allllll that effort in... and then, you just give up on it.

Real men don't quit son.

":hair: Your father would be very disappointed in you-"

SHUT UP. ONLY THE REAL MEN MAY TALK ABOUT QUITTING.

It's pathetic. It's hopeless. Only giiiiiiirls quit.

Are you a girl, son?

No?

I didn't think so.

So, son... are you a quitter, or are you gonna make your father proud and act like a real man?

Which one?

I've got nothing more to add :P :)

:laugh3:Actually I can say one positive thing about one of the actresses, I thought Mia Kurshner rocked in 24.

Shouldn't you be off watching the latest episode of "Lip Service" or something?:P

I actually watched the first episode of this on iplayer and it's the same unbeliveable rubbish, the hip cool character, the shy insecure one and the one who's actually quite cute and funny to be fair to her but still not convincing, all accompinied by some pervy straight dude who has a striking resemblence to Anthony Kiedis, actually that makes alot of sense I wonder if they based his character on him:laugh3:.

Anyone else see the resemblence?
