i'm not going to go on about the retard thing but I replied to that post if I'm going to get called a retard for saying it stopped raining by someone I"ve never spoken to not ONCE on this forum

It helps if you make sense in your posts and don't fill them with double negatives.

the statement was made with regard to this what does that have to do with posting double negatives

This is the double negative.

This is the double negative.

what does that have to do with being called a retard for saying that it stopped raining. thats what I am referring to. double negatives or incorrect grammar does not change the fact of what was said

I was merely suggesting that people would not insult your intelligence if you learned to type in English correctly. I was not myself saying that you are a retard, simply adding my insight as to why people may be saying such things and how you could remedy that. Relevant posting might also improve things, but I'm sure you don't care so do carry on.

I never said that you called me a retard so dont even go there and I dont get your insight on why people would say that since the comment was made to the simple statement that it stopped raining.

It was not made to the post with the doule negative. I also know that I'm not the only one who makes typos or use incorrect grammar and their posts are not highlighted and they are not called a retard. I really dont see the point youre making .

I said it stopped raining. That post was quoted and I was called a retard .

I imagine it was not simply that post which it was referring to (and I honestly haven't seen the retard post since I'm a little busy right now and I need to catch up on the thread sometime soon), and more based on your entire persona on here.

Then I was saying that it's a little hard to defend yourself being called a retard when you reply in such a shambolic fashion.

well that post was quoted and thats what was said after it . There was no reference made to anything else that I've said before and you cannot 'imagine' or think for anyperson what they meant when they posted.

I dont want anyone to defend me on anything I say either .

and if you are a little busy then read the post before speaking on it because thats what I am referring to. I'm just addressing the issue of being called retarded after being quoted as saying it stopped raining.

So her grammar is not perfect but she still makes fun of non native english speakers because of their grammar mistakes?

Your argumentation is like a hamster in a spinning wheel.

I think your lack of understanding of how a forum works and that posts as flippant as the retard one are simply referring to one singular post is also a reason a person may call you a retard. You don't seem to be understanding and seem intent on wearing your blinkers and making a deal out of something you clearly don't understand. A possibly theory has been suggested to you but you have shunned it, despite the fact it was logical so I'll just let you make up your own reason as to why it was said.

And I was speaking under information you gave me which was that you were called a retard after an (off topic) statement about the weather. Don't start discussing it with me if you are just going to refute my statement based on the fact that I am only looking at the information that you (a person trying to help me understand) are giving me.

You shouldn't make such a big deal of being called a retard on a Coldplay messageboard, I'm just saying.

Especially not when I'm the one saying it.

The last five pages or so are just  worthy.

Do I still do that?

Less than I do. :anxious:

Two dirty pairs of socks? 4 socks?

Wow that's a new expression. You are worth 4 dirty socks. Is that like Ukranian? It's beautiful.

Is that sarcasm I'm hearing?

Can't be Ukrainian, I live in America.

Well I guess you could be a Ukrainian who emigrated to the U.S.:P

I was born at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, here in Pennsylvania. My background is Irish.

Then Reilly might actually be a distant cousin of yours! How about that!:P

It is possible to know sayings from countries you don't live in.

^Very true. For example, I'm familiar with "To be sure, to be sure.................."

I am not related to Reilly. Period. .

I made that saying up, dummy.
